i have VERY STRAIGHT and THICK asian hair. it's hard to find products that my hair will cooperate with but this one works great for me. it gives my hair volume and it makes it look textured. i prefer this over pomade. it makes my hair have a matte look. i was worried that the powder will solidify when rubbing on my hair that it will make it look like i have dandruff/dirt on it but it doesn't! it doesn't leave any residue after applying and it smells great too. the only downside is that it makes your hair hard to wet when showering making it hard to wash off completely. it also leaves a stiff feeling to your hair after a shower if you apply too much. i always shower 2-3 times a day depending on how much physical activity i do (i workout, work 10 hour shifts, go to college and work with different animals at the clinic, shelter or zoo) but even after washing and shampooing my hair 2 times it still leaves a stiff feeling but it goes away after another day of showering and not using the product

This dry powder is honestly a game changer for hair styling. I think it must be what movie stars use on the red carpet! Only thing is it is a bit confusing at first figuring out how to use it properly. Best way I found is to really rub it well between your palms first, then run your hands through your hair and rake it through with your fingers. First time using a powder I found it lifted great but after a few hours it made my hair oily. And then it stuck to my head flat so I can move the hair around poof it back up but it still feels dirty. I can't say that I don't like it. I am sensitive to gels hair sprays and so on so I would choose this over anything else although I'm not sure I like it however I do recommend and will continue to try it.

Fits in really great. Gives a clean, natural look without feeling heavy. I’ve noticed way less smudging compared to other products, and it stays in place throughout the day. Super easy to apply and doesn’t get greasy. Definitely one of the better styling powders I’ve used.
