How wide is the hook itself as it will be hanging on a cabinet door that measures one inch?

The hook area over the tank (or cabinet) is 1" long out-to-out so if hanging over a 1" door it may need to be slightly bent to fit.

Does it hold large mega size rolls?

We use Sam's brand large rolls that are 2 inch from edge of cardboard roll to outside edge of tissue. There is about an inch between the tissue and tank so would accomadate a larger roll. I do not know the width of a mega roll.
