PCL ACCURA® MK4 Digital Tyre Inflator,"SINGLE CLIP ON"

PCL are a well known name in the motor trade. I was recommended this, by an acquaintance in the alloy wheel refurbishment business. Prices varied quite a bit, in the trade, and I was getting silly quotes. This was the best deal, by several pounds. I needed accurate readings for vehicles with tyre pressure monitoring, and the ability to change display from bar to psi was very handy. The LCD display is black digits on an illuminated blue background and easy to read. Great bit of kit

Purchased for off road use, stored in my compressor bag in the side box of my truck. Build quality is good from the outside. A few issues to share: 1. The battery cap is a nuisance, plastic with fine thread which is easy to cross the threads. The Sping loaded valve chuck is awkward to seal, you need to keep it well lubricated to, should be a one handed job allowing you to hold the trigger in the other, not very practical. Last concern is the display has packed in. Last trip the display was on then off, changed batteries and now it no longer displays pressure.

Size and single clip on feature is useful. Needs a way to hang it up though. Whether or not the device will work when you want it to is in the lap of the gods. The LED segments often all activate permanently, resetting by removing the batteries sometimes fixes it., often not. The pressure sensor sometimes doesn't register any pressure.

I'm a technician at a main dealer and have to say this is the best tyre pressure gauge I've ever used. Very accurate and find very helpful that changes between psi , bar and KPA. It is very light and small so doesn't take much room up in your tool box and is cheaper than any other places I've looked. Worth the purchase!

Note you do not get the item as pictured. Rather than the lance style twin connector (THO) that attaches to the tyre valve, you get a completely flexible hose with single clip on connector (SCO). If you read the description very carefully you will see a reference to it being single. The inflator itself, like any PCL product, is however very good.

Don't buy this if you want one as per the advertised photo. It is as per my photo with a single hosed connector. The description is correct if you understand it. Actual guage unit is OK though.

Great, if not the best tyre inflator money can buy, especially at this price range At first they sent me the wrong type theres 2 different ones, but they swapped it over without any hassle to myself....Well done

Very good gauge, it seems very accurate , pressure matched with a master gauge which I already have, would recommend to others thinking of buying the gauge, easy to use, just the right size and does as described, excellent.
