Has anyone had any issues with a drain?

Thanks for contacting. We suggest you install a hardwire kit. After installing the hardwire kit, the parking monitor is entering time-lapse mode. It will record one frame per second, which extremely save power and tf card capacity (In a normal record, it's 30 frames per second). If the vehicle hasn't been used for a long time, the parking monitor mode will stop recording after 24 hours. It will start normal recording after the car engine turns on. Can i just use 2 acc fuse slots so it doesn't drain battery and only cones on when ignition is turned on?

Thanks for contacting. No, you need to install the red wire of the hardwire kit to ACC, yellow wire of the hardwire kit to BATT, then it will enter timelapse recording. After installing the hardwire kit, the parking monitor is entering time-lapse mode.
