This is a really awesome toy which seamlessly blends outright fun with creativity, spatial / non verbal reasoning, geometry... I could go on, the applications for learning are particularly high with this kit, and the barrier to entry is particularly low, unlike with some more complex building toys. This makes this appropriate for kids of all ages really, with the possibility to create all sorts of complex structures without the hassle of small connectors or fixings. The pieces are robust and well made, the magnets strong enough to hold, but weak enough to easily separate. This is well balanced in that to create strong structures, kids must consider the tessellation of the shapes carefully. The look of the pieces is very good making the structures you can create very attractive. My only complaint is that this set costs £200 as reviewed, but just comes in a carboard box essentially. While this is somewhat eco friendly, there are a lot of parts in this set. They do snap together so it's not like other toys with small pieces where they just go everywhere and get lost, but at this price I'd have liked to have seen a proper container, especially as this is sort of the "master set". With that said though, the price is not a huge concern and if you think it's too expensive for your budget, there are smaller ones available to get started. What you get IS worth the money in terms of quality, in my opinion. Highly recommend this set.

This is a great quality set with so many open ended opportunities for play and creativity! With so many tiles and shapes to choose from, a great selection of colours, and a handy inspiration book, this pack provides hours of entertainment! The set is simply presented (I do agree with other reviewers that a container/storage box would have been nice to include, particularly at the price point) and the pieces nice and sturdy with strong magnets, yet still easy to take apart. If you are a fan of magnetic tiles, and you need a large set to fuel more creativity (or simply have 2 children that don't like to share haha) then this set is for you!

High quality, real thing, not a cheap ripoff. The tiles stick to gether and do not break easily.

I previously bought a ton of Magna-Tiles for my son and although fun and their animal themed sets are great, the magnets weren’t good enough to make anything too dependent on them so I started researching other brands. I found that a lot of people recommended Connetix over all other brands so I bought some to try it out. I’m super impressed! The magnets are definitely stronger by far and the design is beautiful. The light goes through so well. The tiles are very well made and seem lighter also. Absolutely recommend these over any other brand, and they’re compatible with the major brands as well!

This was a wonderful gift that we gave 2 of our grand daughters (ages 5 and 3) last Christmas (2023). They still play with them regularly and there seems to be an endless source of fun and entertainment with all they can do with them. This year, I bought a second set to give to our other 2 grand daughters, who are 5 and 2. I heartily recommend this set!
