OK
Had some trouble putting it together. Had to sand a lot of pieces. Marbles come off in wrong places sometimes.

Another marble runner
Not has good as the others and broke one or two bits with my ciumsy hands, when switched on first time it worked then jammed and snapped a few of the delicate pieces Did not get replacements free as advertised paid over £20 pounds for a sheet, but most was shipping . Did a temporary repair and now it’s running ok but is very very fragile and after all my review I’m glad I bought it Denis B

Very hard to build and doesn’t work that well
Very tricky to build. It took a long time to snap the parts out without breaking them. Pretty painful on the fingers. This will take at least a week to 10 days to build. Mechanism isn’t that smooth, lift shafts are getting stuck and ruining the whole thing.

Fairly long careful build time, but looks good so far
If you like building Lego kits or puzzles you might enjoy building this Wood Trick wooden marble run. I’m not sure this could be built in the 8 hrs quoted; I have just been doing 4 pages of the instructions each time I come home from work. With a total of 558 pieces and 94 pages of instructions, this Will take me some time. So far, I haven’t had many problems following the instructions, but removing the wood pieces is a slow process just to make sure I don't break any pieces. Also pushing the joints together during assembly can require some pressure, again making sure not to break anything. I haven’t completely finished as yet, so far there hasn’t been anything broken or missing unlike some other kits I’ve had. In places it's quite fiddly but that’s what make it enjoyable. When it’s finished, it will go in my display cabinet. I will post the final picture and video on a review update. Overall, if you like kit building this is an enjoyable kit to build. I really like the electrical motor integration to make this a working piece. I hope you find my review helpful

Interesting challenge and fun result
Wood Trick is new to me but deserves to be much better known, if this motorised roller coaster marble run is anything to go by. There’s a great deal more to this construction than you might imagine. It’s non-trivial and likely to be as much of a challenge for adults as older children. The result of the build looks terrific and of course then you can have fun with it. The kit is a weighty item of undoubted quality. The pieces are perfectly cut and go together precisely, without glue. Many of them are very small and fragile, though, so care is needed in extracting them from the boards. The instructions are excellent – detailed and accurate. They make the task straightforward enough, as long as care and time are taken. The kit would keep most people occupied for best part of a day, longer if you choose to paint it, with tremendous satisfaction on completing it. I spent a day on this, working with my 13-year-old grandson. Not once was he distracted by anything electronic. The kit would make a wonderful gift for the right person, but given the £79.90 price you have to be confident that it really IS the right person.

Tolles Teil, funktioniert einwandfrei.
Habe es verschenkt und der Empfänger war sehr glücklich darüber, kleinere Anpassungen musste getätigt werden aber die sind nicht der rede wert.

There are NO design flaws. Everything works.
This was my second kit from Wood Trick. I assembled the Galaxy set a few months ago, and wanted to try this Spiral kit. I read reviews calling out "obvious design flaws" in the cam system that moves the stairs up and down. Cam shaft breaking, wire modifications to the lifting rods, etc. So, I paid maybe some more attention to that part of the kit. I smoothed the stairs, the connecting rods and the lower "forks" that ride on the cam wheels. Smoothed the cam wheels and waxed everything well. After assembly, I tried the cam set-up by hand. It turned and worked smooth and easy. When I completed assembly, there was no hint of a problem with the stairs. The problem I had, was with the outer return run from the trap, back to the pick-up deck. The ball was just coming down too fast and would often jump the last corner. I lightly sanded the top inside corners of the rails, to let the ball ride deeper between the rails and that slowed it down just enough to where it "almost" never jumps the track anymore. Running this kit for an hour or so, you may still find some places here and there that may need a little tweaking or smoothing, but right from the first start, it worked fine. All in all, I am very satisfied with the kit, impressed with the way everything fits together, and the clear instructions. (And I did not break a single piece while removing or assembling it).
