Wonderful way to keep a magnet on you
This is the best way I have found to keep a decently strong magnet on you. Being able to turn it "off" is great. You can carry a decently strong magnet without it constantly getting stuck on things. Also very useful for picking up small pins, bits, chips, etc since you can turn the knob and they fall off or can be easily brushed off.

cool magnet
this thing is as little as it looks but the quality is very good the on and off switch works good and strong to hold down but will slide not practical for much in a wood shop but neat to have

exactly as advertised - it is a magnet that can be turned off and on by turning the knob
very strong magnet - solid build - edges are not super smooth so be careful if you try to stick this to your fridge door

60lbs is not that strong. For really light weight stuff I'm sure they are fine.
I wanted to use a pair of these for positioning some relatively small and lightweight metal panels that probably weigh less than 10lbs. I thought 60lb holding force would be plenty. It isn't, they just came off. That's on me, I really didn't know how to judge what holding power I'd need I just based it on what I thought would work.
