Brilliant piece of equipment, made with nice, thick, sturdy metal, I used it to make some beeswax balm and it works extremely well, retains heat nicely too so when I need to put it down between pouring the wax doesn't start setting fast just because it's off the heat

Absolutely love this product! It's perfect for the job. I have been using it for melting chocolate but shall be melting soap in it. Wish that I had bought it years ago!

Whilst I would probably go with a bigger model next time this did the job. The handle came off on one side...that may be down to my use over the years. Still works so not a problem

Double boiler works fine but it takes less than a litre.

This small melting pan is brilliant, my wife says that it will be very useful as she does a lot of baking and cooking, the quality is excellent at the price, it has pouring dents at the sides which makes a huge difference when you need to put whatever it is your cooking into another dish etc. The quality is really good too, stainless steel (stamped on the bottom, see pictures) the design is very good and all in all my wife assures me that anyone who gets this and is into baking etc will love it, I know she does so that's good enough for me! 5 stars all the way! *****

I'm sure this would work for melting normal wax and chocolate etc but it doesnt work for melting gel wax which is what I needed it for. So I have had to return it

I bought this specifically for melting down all the wasted excess candle wax from burnt out T lights so that I could make new candles and thus not waste the wax. This pan has been just the ticket. Being ferromagnetic it works perfectly on my induction hob. The lip on it makes pouring the wax easy and drip/spill free. The handle did not get hot either for handling. I have used it to make one candle and will make more in due course as the need arises. The interior is smoothe so is easy to clean depending on what you are heating. The caveat is that actually wax is not easy to clean from any receptacle once it has cooled down!

J'adore ! Il s'agit d'une petite casserole. Me concernant, je l'utilise pour la fabrication de produits cosmétiques quand je dois faire fondre de la matière au bain marie. A cet effet, cette casserole me convient parfaitement. S'adapte très bien à une casserole type. Ce qui est pratique, c'est le fond plat qui permet de faire tenir la casserole sur un plan de travail. Tout est très bien pensé. La qualité est au rendez-vous. Entretien facile, passe au lave-vaisselle. Au niveau de la contenance, 480 ml est idéal pour les produits cosmétiques.
