I bought this a while ago but finally cleared enough space on my workbench to install it. I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. This unit is a fraction of the cost of free-standing bike stands and even less expensive than most bench-mounted versions. I think where the cost saving comes from is that many of the parts seem to be injection molded plastic rather than steel or aluminum. I'm okay with that since the plastic parts on this thing are beefy and strong and will undoubtedly last a long time and take serious abuse. Think Glock polymer, not LEGO styrene. I also like that the plastic and adequate rubber moldings will not mar or scratch the finishes on my bikes. It holds most of my bikes except my fat tire e-bike which is over 100 lbs but that's because my bench isn't heavy enough to counterbalance it. I think the bike vise would actually accommodate the weight. Another benefit is its ease of adjustment. It is easy to put the bike in various positions without a struggle and it tucks out of the way and folds up into a reasonably small footprint considering its stout size. So you won't be crying about lost tabletop space on your bench if you install it. Another option is installing it with carriage bolts instead of the wood screws it came with so you can remove it from the bench when not in use.

The steel is very strong and easy to use but the main difference in this and an expensive one like park tool is in the clamp. This clamp is good enough for me but definitely is not of the same quality as park tool. Hard to explain in a few words but basically the clamp piece’s adjustment, rotation, steadiness, clamp power and everything is cheaper than the high quality stuff like park tool. It is though good enough and so if you want to save some money then it is well worth the money.

Used for Live scope works great

Have been using for a few weeks now. Found it to be well made, mostly steel except for the plastic that clamps to the frame. The ratcheting control works well and is very solid. Reach is good and height adjustment is good. I mounted it on a 2 by 6 shelf that I attached to the side of a workbench. That way I was able to adjust the mounting height to my liking. It is very stable with almost no flexing with bikes weighting up to 30#'s. Have not tried it out with heavier bikes.

Great bench clamp for MTB. It has been holding a M carbon MTB for about 2 weeks while I work on it and it hasnt slipped or loosened at all. Nice mechanisms all user friendly and easy to operate. The clamp itself is sturdy enough just make sure you attach it to something that wont flip when you load it up. All in all for the price it it well worth the money compared to other name brands.

Made with cheap plastic that is not sturdy and does not hold the advertised weight. It cracked under the weight of my 56.5 pound ebike.

I wouldn’t trust it to hold the max weight listed. The fittings are high strength plastic not metal. The bed is metal and it came with screws that were nice and long. It was also supplied with the necessary Allen wrenches. It is a good value just don’t overload it.

I mounted this on a piece of 2x6 and clamped it to my workbench. It's just the right height to work on bikes. The seat post clamp is plastic but does the job for an occasional repair or adjustment. Considering the price (and the required floor space) of a full-size bike stand, this is a good alternative for someone like me. It is plenty sturdy and holds the bike well enough, but not particularly tight. It's plenty stable since it's clamped to my workbench. I like how the clamp is easily adjusted so it can hold the bike at the seat post or at the top tube (but that's a no-no).

Sure not as convenient as a free standing setup but works great attached to my work bench. Really easy to use and make simple maintanence tasks so much easier. Other benefit is I don't have to set up tear down and store the free standing one. Overall the quality seems good and the stand does hold my 60 pound ebike quite well.

This model is big and versatile, made of metal and some plastic, but if you don’t abuse the plastic parts, they should last for a long time.
