I bought this for myself for when I travel. But ended up giving it to my 101y/o mother to try out to see if it would help her with her sleep. Or I should say lack of sleep. The verdict is in! She absolutely loves it! She says it has helped tremendously. She has terrible arthritis in her hands, and tremors. But she has no problem with navigating the buttons on this device. It is easy for her to handle. Not over complicated. Plus it has the little grippers on the bottom so it stays put on her bedside table. I am so happy I got it. Oh, best of all, it is portable. You do not have to keep it plugged in to use it!!! And it does not take long to charge!

At home, I like to sleep with a fan on for the white noise it produces. I am a frequent cruiser. On a cruise ship, there are often only 2 outlets in the room and neither of them is close to the bed. For safety and fire prevention, the cruise line prohibits passengers from bringing extension cords or multi-plug outlets of any type. They do, however permit multi-USB ports to be brought on board. I needed a white noise machine that is powered by USB (not plugged in to the wall). It had to be small and compact for travel, yet powerful and loud enough to recreate the white noise of the plug-in fan I use at home. It had to be rechargeable and it had to hold a charge long enough to at least get through the night. This white noise machine has it all. With multiple sound options and volume control, I am able to select the white noise I prefer at the volume that suits me best. This powerful little white noise machine can be very quiet if preferred, yet it has the capability of being even louder than my plug-in fan at home if I wanted it to be. Fortunately with the volume controls, I am able to match the volume level I am accustomed to with my plug-in fan at home. This white noise machine easily fits in one hand and it is light weight, making it very convenient for travel. The charge lasts 1-2 nights before requiring re-charging. It comes with a 4-5 foot USB charging cable. For $25 this white noise machine was a great buy. It is an absolute must-have for cruisers and I highly recommend it!

I was SO surprised at this sound machine! It is PERFECT for me. The sounds are clear and beautiful, you can choose what sound you like, but ALL are great! There is volume control, it is a sturdy and outwardly appealing little device! I CANNOT BELIEVE it is such a good item at a fantastic price! I must say I have slept quite a lot better with this sound machine! It will travel everywhere with me!💗💗💗

Pros I like the thunderstorm sound. I like the volumes of how the different sounds are mixed together to make the thunderstorm sound. I tried a different sound machine and the rain sounded too loud and weird. I haven't used any other other sounds besides thunderstorm and sometimes waves so I can't speak to the others. I like the look of this one. I was concerned about using the buttons in the dark but I was easily able to memorize where the ones I need are. The little lights for the different lengths of time for the sound have a slight texture so I can figure out where the top is in the dark. Also, the button in the middle is bigger than the others. I typically set it to go off after 60 minutes but I sometimes forget. I have been using it for about a week and only charged it before the first use. I was concerned about having to remember to charge it but I also didn't want another cord by my nightstand. I'm happy that the charge is lasting nicely. I am presuming that if it's on but not playing the whole night it saves battery. I think it is a good value for the money but I've never used a $100+ sound machine so I can't say for sure. Cons I wish there was a battery level indicator so I will know when it needs to be charged before it's super low. I also wish it remembered the setting I choose so that it goes back to the sound and volume I like every time I turn it on. I wish it had a setting for just rain. Despite these things I would still recommend it because I like falling asleep to the sound of a quiet thunderstorm. I haven't traveled with it but it would probably be fine. If you travel outside the country you might need an adapter to charge it. Some sort of power converter. I live in the us and traveled to the UK with a light box and it needed to be plugged in with more than just an outlet converter.

We just bought our second one of these noise machines bc we’ve loved it. It’s loud so it’s great for sleep training. When the power goes out, it has a long lasting battery that keeps your babies asleep. It’s small so it’s easy to pack on a trip and it doesn’t cast a bright light in the room. It has tons of settings but we only use the white noise. It does have a timer, but I’ve never use it. It’s a great purchase.
