J-Hooks for Squat/Power Rack - Available in 2"x2" and 3"x3", Heavy Duty J-Cups Barbell Holder with UHMV Pads

My son was looking for a weight bench and we found one at auction for $5. It was minus these items and after a little research this was our purchase and now my son is on his way to becoming an athlete. The brackets are a perfect fit. Durable, sturdy and great for the job.

hooks are great, they are very study and don't scratch my barbell. They fit my 2x2 1 inch rack very nicely. The pegs are slightly smaller than 1inch but that doesn't bother me. Holds decent weight, but I'm not a heavy lifter..... yet.

These work well. I haven't used them to hold VERY heavy weights (135-150 is the max I have, including the bar that I have resting on these). But they work well for my personal, home rack. I like the safety feature on these (they require a twist and pull to put them on, take them off, move them vs just pulling them directly away from the rack). No complaints!

Sturdy, low profile, and don't wiggle at all. There are just two little things I would improve. 1. Slightly less upward angle on the hooks, they are pretty easy to clip coming in. 2. The pads on the back decrease the clanging, maybe making them a little softer. They do work, just could be better. Both of those improvements are very minor, and I am super happy with these hooks, especially for the price.

This j hooks are by far much longer then the original ones that came with the rack. They give you about 6 inch’s of protection to the rack when racking the bar. They have a great pad on the to protect the knurling on your bar. They fit nice and snug on a 2x2 rack with very little play. Will be buying a second pair!

Just what I wanted. Sturdy, no issues at all.

The SYL Fitness J-Hooks for 2x2 Power Rack were a good buy. I have a Giant Garage Gym 2x2 Power Rack and the SYL J-hooks fit it perfectly. By way of construction, they compare well to the Giant-brand J-Hooks. The Giant J-hooks are heavier gauge than the SYL. But the SYL still look to be about 7 gauge. The bottom shelf of the Giant J-hook is held up by a single diagonal brace, while the shelf of the SYL hook is held up by two diagonal braces. However, the Giant hook has better welding. I guess I’d trust the Giant hook to hold more weight, but the SYL hook will certainly hold far more weight than I am capable (or ever will be capable) of lifting. The peg on the SYL hook is about 1/16” smaller in diameter than the GIANT hook. But that seems to make little difference on stability of the SYL hook. It fits well on the rack. I am happy with the purchase.

Items were loosely shipped in a box with no padding between them and arrived dented and scratched. One safety's powder coating wasn't applied properly so there was a strip of rust in the corner. Ordering another pair to see if it's an anomaly. Update: It's not an anomaly, but I suppose you can mix and match. Functions just fine, so only one star deducted.

Had to rerurn it. On my rack it goes too low when put in highest position for bench press. Can't get correctly under rhe bar. The quality is very good.

It was okay I have seen better but good for the price
