Excellent mouthpiece
Excellent mouthpiece. Switched from a Schilke 14A4 and won't be switching back

Great for screaming
Great addition to my mouthpiece collection. Takes some practice to get the slotting right as this makes it quite easy in the upper register. Tone is pretty awful as you'd expect in the lower range, but this bad boy is all about the screaming - I can finally hit a super G with this!

Screamer!
It's not going to turn you into an amazing trumpeter, but if you occasionally have to do some high work in a band and are more used to classical repertoire it doesn't half help!

Lower Register hard to play (for me!)
Higher register very good, lower register is difficult to play. Ok, it's a lead mouthpiece and maybe other Players manage that much better. Of course it's a very personal thing.

Quite a challenge coming from a large/medium mouthpiece
Blue = Warburton 2M Red = Yamaha Bobby Shew Lead I am a small group jazz player and I have a place to go study jazz at conservatoire next year (just to give u an idea of what kind of standard I play at). I decided to buy the bobby shew lead as it was a relatively cheap lead mouthpiece and I was just kind of curious about how it would affect my playing, disclaimer i am definitely not a lead player. My daily driver right now it a Warburton 2m with a 7* back bore so it isn't the biggest mouthpiece in the world but it is more towards the symphonic end of the spectrum which helps me get a nice warm sound but doesn't make the high register inaccessible and I can certainly get the tone to bright up a bit when I give it some more air. The Bobby shew lead is way smaller and so has been a bit of a shock to the system, it has improved my high register playing, my top note on the Warburton is currently around a c/d above stave but on the bobby shew I can get C above stave without even trying and can get up to a G above that (3 above middle c). so yes the top end is good. Sadly the upper middle reg (C in the stave to G above stave) is horrible, those notes normally fly out of my trumpet with ease but with this smaller cup and tighter back bore I really had issues trying to get it to play well. the tone is thin as expected from a lead mouthpiece. so a few points. - It will probably take you time to get used to. - If you are an accomplished lead player get a GR or something. - If u are looking for a cheap lead mouthpiece to only use very occasionally for big band and to just kind of scope out lead playing then this might be a decent option. for me I will probably use it a few times when I have to pretend I am a big band player. This mouthpiece was a good inexpensive way of confirming to myself that playing stupid high isn't as fun as it looks and that I am in the right ball park with the 2M.

Buena boquilla Líder
Buena boquilla para trompeta líder! No es del todo muy alta, ni muy profunda! En tesitura medias agudas queda perfecta!

Great mouthpiece for jazz lead trumpet
The mouthpiece just feels good on the lips. The sound is awesome and it does help me play notes in the higher register much more cleaner and better sounding. I love playing with this mouthpiece. I had been playing a schilke 14a4a and sometimes a jetone but this one for me is a much better fit.

Smooth tone
Quality mouthpiece. Very good for smooth tone and great range - loving it.

Esta bien
La boquilla es funcional, es equivalente a la Yamaha 14b4, pero con anillo redondeado y un backbore mas abierto.
