I used to place under my work desk, an inexpensive but somewhat heavy 6-foot by 3-foot veneer wood desk-kit. The desk has no real RISERS on the feet. I needed my work-surface to be higher, and I certainly can't complain about wanting my posture to be better for 55 hours a week. Thanks to Amazon for providing so many work-table sizes and colors. When I assembled my 2 heavy tables (no drawers, you could call my desk a very sturdy table), and put my monitors on them and tried to WIGGLE the tables, they do not budge. 60 lbs each. After I placed these 2-inch risers under the legs on my 2 tables (now a substantial L-shaped workdesk), the tables still do not budge. I move around my office often, squeezing past my desk sometimes, and I was concerned about STUBBING my toes on a corner of any desk-risers. These are very attractive, and since they are rounded, they put me to ease. The size is just right. The legs on my desk are 2-inches, and they fit well into these risers. My desk still DOES NOT WIGGLE. It was a little challenging getting the corners of 2 desks to smash together, but it is not the fault of these risers. The base on these risers are a full 4-inches wide. This is what you want, unless you need to compromise for some reason. They feel like real wood, and probably are quality wood. They are heavy, and are excellent quality, top-to-bottom. I ordered 4 risers to check them out (they are a little expensive), and I now have a complete set of 8. I'm a Gov employee working from home. However grateful, i hate to give a nod to this thing called "aging" whereby there's a need for furniture raisers, Ugh! But these are very nice & very sturdy, was skeptical about appearance as well as stability, i pounced hard in the loveseat & no movement/sliding..so my two concerns were easily solved w/ this selection, the raisers wont look cheap in yr bedroom, living or family room but w/ the appropiate furniture..for (whatever reason) i'll blame it on being cheap, i purchased some plastic raisers & those were disgustingly ugly, even cracking (yes, really) these compliment yr furniture, height was okay, wish i would've got another inch higher but i didnt want my loveseat to look like it was suspended in air or on stilts..lol...my other (minor) complaint was the color which was lighter then my seat, it look a little off but the quality of the raisers can override this detail.. Would i purchase again? YES, DEF. THESE ARE NICE, STURDY, QUALITY RAISERS....

These are solid wood risers that are 3" wide at the top and 4" wide at the bottom, with a rubber pad on the bottom to protect the floor from scratching. I am using this 4-piece set under a 60" loveseat we are using as seating for our table. No movement or worries about tipping. Easy to use. The pieces look like large shoes under our thin legged sofa, but there is no doubt they work perfectly.

These are exactly as described and are certainly strong enough to support any furniture. The only issue we ran into was trying to use them on carpet to raise a sofa 2 inches. Given these do not slide on carpet, as you get a riser under one or two legs, then go to the other end and lift, the far end tends to move slightly tipping those risers over. So, it's a struggle getting all four into place. Then, once in place, you cannot move the sofa. If you do try to, one or all of the risers tip over and you're back to square one. So, for carpet, a different style would be preferable, possibly with a slick bottom or wider base. And we certainly could not recommend going any higher than 2 inches on carpet, as it would be unstable. The risers here should be fine for all hard surfaces, and the built-in grip pad is sufficient to protect the flooring, it's about 1/8 inch thick.

Perfect and beautiful. They offer a variety of sizes and are sturdy and sleek with rubber to protect floor and furniture!

All of my risers arrived with the top black piece missing, revealing the unfinished wood. I would have glued something on there and used them anyway, but they stink so badly of varnish or something that I can't be in the same room with them. I was expecting a product I could use straight out of the box, not something I would need to spend more money on to seal/block whatever smell this is. I am writing this review after several days of trying to air them out and scrubbing them with the usual things I use to get rid of odors. Nothing has worked, so I really will have to go out of my way to buy something to try to fix these, if I want to use them.

These were the perfect height but they are not the most stable. The chair has fallen off of them quite a few times when I've sat down. They do seem well made though. (In their defense though, I am an Old Coot, so I have a tendency to flop into the chair sometimes, due to painful joints).

Fast shipping. Great quality. Look nice with the wood and have no scent. Correct height - the groove size is as described. Does have a lip so make sure to check it will fit the legs of the item you are using these on. Very easy to slip under the legs of a desk that was raised. Currently using this on carpet but the no slip bottom is very substantial and would be great to use on wood.

Use these to increase the height of an antique wooden table. Looks good and is very sturdy..

These risers are a mahogany wood colour which does not detract from the existing feet *a similar wood colour) on the tub chairs we were going to rise. However, the circle of 3" was barely wide enough for the chair legs to fit in and certainly not deep enough as it is barely 1/2" deep. Any small movement of the tub chairs dislodges the risers. Not a safe solid base for those two chairs. Unfortunately we did not open the packages or install them until now, Dec 2024, and the window for returning them has closed. We will have to donate them or use them somewhere else.

EXCELLENT DID THE JOB.

Transformed our sofa. It was too low before and the raisers have really made a difference especially for people with back problems. Made the sofa much more comfortable.

There is not much to add. These were bought to lift a couch a little higher off the ground and it did just that. Nice finish, feels like solid wood, and the rubber grips on the blocks (as of right now) are holding :). No cons
