I wasn't sure what to expect, so I ordered this Ultrasonic Infrared Hair Care Iron out of curiosity. Given its design, I expected it to function as a hair straightener, but it doesn't do much for actual straightening or styling. It's more of a hair treatment device that helps nutrients and moisture penetrate the hair more effectively. This makes it a unique product that focuses on infrared technology as a haircare treatment (I think). It features an LED display that indicates standby and active modes. I'm fairly disappointed that it doesn't necessarily work as a hair straightener as claimed. I've been using it with the hopes that it will enable my hair products to better-penetrate my strands. But I can't tell if the improvement in softness and health is the result of this device or the products (or perhaps both). Overall, I have been using this infrared hair iron for a few weeks now, and I'm still not entirely sure what it does. It has red infrared-looking plates that do glide across sectioned hair. But it doesn't straighten as expected, and there are no immediate visible changes or results. I plan to continue use and will return to update if I begin to observe some benefit to the regular treatment. But without seeing any observable results, I'm not comfortable offering a recommendation. Truthfully, I'm not sure if this interesting device works or not.
