Men's Beard Colour | No Ammonia Formula with Aloe Extract & Olive Oil - 103 Dark Brown

Easy to mix and apply. Worked v effectively. No issues with skin sensitivity or stinging at all. It’s easy to modify how natural/dark it looks depending on how much you load up the applicator with cream. I recommend using a thin layer on the first application and can on subsequent treatments.

Bigen beard colour is fantastic, I've been using them for a few years and I'll never go back to that awful just for men stuff. It doesn't leave stains anywhere, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry or itchy or irritated. It doesn't go too dark even though I leave it on for a good 25-30 minutes before washing off. Cover's my greys perfectly and the colour lasts a long time, I usually apply it around every 2 weeks, I remember having to apply just for men every week or so and that stuff was nasty. Bigen also doesn't have any unpleasant smell to it, it's simply the best stuff when it comes to beard dye in my opinion.

Although says no Ammonia it does contain PPD. Caused swelling and red rash around face. Would not recommend for those with sensitive skin.

Had a bad reaction using JFM, and decided to give this a go, despite the absolutely insane beard colour on the box. Fear not, it’s not nearly as dark as the box would have you believe. Turns out the colour is just as good as JFM, but without the burning sensation. Looks natural and lasts about a week. The only small negative I have is the length of time it needs to be on. I find about 20 minutes does the trick for the real greys, which is only a real issue if you’re in a hurry.

Black means black. Got this thinking it would be closer to dark brown but it was definitely... black. First time it was all well. Second time I tried to economise and had to have another go at some areas, meant re-mixing 3 lots of the stuff. The good thing is that you can ix as much or as little as you want each time, so it's quite economical if you don't have a massive beard (mine's just a goatee). IN the end you need to get a fair coating on the hair and I leave it 15 minutes not the 10 minutes they recommend. Very slight redness of the skill, a bit itchy for a few hours but it's under a black beard, so - not noticeable anyway :) And I always get a bit itchy from any product I've tried - it's only a very minor thing at worst and probably partly psychological. I was also worried about having dye products right under my nose (PPDs etc?) having developed a problem previously with another hair product, but this was fine from that viewpoint too. However - it's all down to the individual so please don;t take that as a guarantee that it will be ok for you!

I've been using this product for about 10 years and its brilliant. Its easy to apply and lasts for a week. It would last longer if I leave it on longer before washing it off but I don't like my beard to go too dark just after using it so I wash it off quickly.

Finally found the perfect beard dye. This really doesn't stain your skin...I have even applied it using my bare fingers! Because it dyes the hair permanently (rather than wash out over time) and doesn't stain the skin, it allows me to keep my beard/stubble shorter - I trim my beard to 4-5mm, so pretty short. Just4Men's dye prevented me from keeping my beard that short because the stained skin that left a line along the cheak was really noticeable. Not the case with Bigens. Smells great and leaves beard soft too. Also, much less hassle washing dye off and clean up - this literally washes off with water alone, but recommended to use a little shampoo & rinse. No more scrubbing and multiple shampooing trying to get that green-black color off your skin! Lastly, ignore Bigen's packaging and dated look of their models...this stuff is bang up-to-date and works extremely well. Not sure why all the highstreet stores only stock J4M brand and not this as this is far superior. Bigen's: maybe you should change your dated packaging and brand awareness strategy. I just hope this never gets discontinued.

Severe allergic reaction No good for sensitive skin. I had constant burning, rritation and itching for well over a week after using this product Just because it's ammonia free doesn't mean it is safe or from PPD
