Master Appliance Portapro Series Butane-Powered Glue Gun Kit (GG100K)

Tried two of the bernzomatic glue guns...failed to ignite after 6 months of once a week use. This one lights first time and gets red hot much faster...so far...had it 2 months

I'm a pretty smart guy. I've done PC repairs for over 5 years. Not to mention who whole degree in computer science. So you can say I know how to trouble shoot. I cannot get 2 of these things to turn on. Put in fuel, check. Turn wheel, listen for noise, kay, no real noise, but whatever, hold igniter 5 - 10 seconds, then look for red glowing. Does not happen. Trouble shooting, problem is either too little gas, or the flow is wrong. Plenty of gas. Tried every notch, just simply a piece of over priced junk. I should have realized this was junk when there isn't a single youtube review for it.

Worked great for a while on the first use, thenI ahd to have the temp turned up almost all the way to keep glue flowing but so hot the glue was actually bubbling and leaking out the front. When I try using lower temp the nozzle clogs and torch stops. have to relight it and wait to reheat.

The unit looks good and has nice features, but stopped working within a couple of days of purchase. I bought this for my wife and showed her how to use it and thought I had made a good decision. Unfortunately, two days later, I came hope and she was using the small cheap glue gun instead of the new one. I of course thought she was doing something wrong, (I feel bad for thinking that) but engaged the gas dial and no gas was flowing. I am sending it back, and will be looking for a replacement (from a different mfg) to replace it.

glue gun arrived defective the fuel supply line was disconnected I opened it up and fixed it... it works great now fuel consumption is not as efficient then some other models but it ha sympathies settings and is capable of higher temps then some others. also it's a bit larger then some of the other models.

Great for use in industrial settings. You can easily carry this thing around and use it within a minute or two after it heats up. Mine did not come with an O-ring to fill the butane so it leaks while you fill it if you don't apply extreme pressure. Make sure to fill it in an open area with NO sources of spark or flame. Safety first.I have not experienced dripping or problems with the gun and this is my second one after I lost the first one.

Product works better than other cordless glue guns on the market. Consistent and powerful, it works perfectly for my situation of being on the road and needing portable glue.

Bought this as a gift and showed up and didn't work no gasses coming out and never fired.Sent back for a replacement and same thing the replacement never worked. Now have sent back for full refund.Quality control on these needs to be top notch since there are only a few companies that sell butane powered Glue guns.If they could make one of these that actually worked it would be a great product but putting out the same thing with no fixes in sight makes it hard to trust this type of product.
