About 90% of the model needs to be painted..

I want to buy this as a gift and all the paint together, where can I find a list of paints and tools that i need?

Try googling the paint codes for this model. It is what I did so I had the paints before the kit. Someone will have uploaded the model's instructions.

Can you use revell paints on it

Do you mean enamel paints? Yes, it is a high quality model and it can take all paints pretty well, as long as you use an undercoat. I suggest you use airbrush for big surfaces though, brush strokes will be visible.
