I am very happy with this item. I was looking for something that I could use to pack my hanging clothes on roadtrips. Having to fold dresses, pants, skirts, and rompers takes up a lot of room in my suitcase (not to mention the hangers I pack in case our rental doesn't have enough). I also didn't want a garment bag that was like a suitcase. I specifically wanted one that was extra long, and none of the suitcase-style options were long enough. Plus, once folded, this takes up minimal space in the car. It made packing and unpacking quick and easy. This item met my needs. I am pleased with the quality and size for the price. I also really love the cream color. The material is a medium thickness, so not the best, but not the worst/cheapest. All the zippers were smooth. I took it on a trip recently and was able to pack 11 hanging items with room for more. I also packed 4 pairs of shoes in the bottom pockets (2 wedges and 2 flats). It folded up and snapped nicely, and the shoulder straps were great for carrying. I was skeptical about the clothes staying in place and not shifting/bunching, but there was no issue there. The bag stays folded and the clothes stay put. What I packed had minimal wrinkles to begin with, but I didn't notice any extra while unpacking. I always steam my nicer clothes before wearing, but keeping them as wrinkle free as possible to minimize steam time is important to me. I look forward to using this for all our roadtrips. I'll be able to pack my suitcase lighter and my husband will also be happy to use it for his nicer shirts. I would say if you maxed this out, you could pack 15-20 non-bulky items (sweaters, coats/jackets, vests, etc. will take up more space). It's also good to note that I use the skinny flocked hangers, so that helps with saving space as well. Plastic or wooden hangers will be bulky and you won't be able to pack as much. Bottom line: I'm satisfied and would buy again if needed.

This bag carried a wedding dress by plane, train, and automobile, and it delivered. Here's what I liked, as well as a few things that I didn't. - Length. I was really happy with the extra length (72 inches) which gave the dress and train more room to hang. Air France, thankfully, had space in their closet and they released the clips so it could hang. This helped reduce potential wrinkles. - Water-resistant(?). I wasn't sure about how water-resistant the bag was, so I choose to keep my dress in it's original white bag as an additional layer of protection. - Pockets. I loved all the pockets. They are on both sides, which I didn't notice until the return trip. I liked that the inner pockets were clear so I was less likely forget anything. There was plenty of room for my shoes, veil, hoop skirt, jewelry, and other miscellaneous items. I was really only limited by the weight and bulkiness. - Straps. I was a little worried, based on other reviews, that the straps might not hold up. I had no trouble with them breaking or coming apart. The straps did become pretty uncomfortable due to the weight (about 5.5kg). So the straps could be improved to be more comfortable. For most though, it's probably a non-issue, the tux was super light in it's separate bag. While there was room in the bag for the tux, we choose to carry each separately to reduce wrinkling of both. - Size. Just slightly larger than the specified dimensions for Air France. I was really concerned that this might be an issue but I had no problem carrying on the bag. Pro tip: Consider your hanger carefully and consider bringing a spare in your luggage. My original hanger didn't make it back in the bag and the dress did not stay well on the replacement hanger. Overall I'm very pleased with this garment bag.

Very nice heavy duty bag with lots of room and pockets

I needed a bag for carrying long dresses on a plane to an out-of-state rehearsal dinner and black tie wedding. This bag was long and wide enough (and the material heavyweight enough) to protect my 3 gowns in dress covers, and it has great clips to cinch the sides after folding it. When I was in a hurry in the airport, one carrying strap accidentally got caught on the edge of a handrail, but it only pulled the strap out of the buckle; the strap didn't tear out of the bag (like I've seen reported on other bags), so I only had to re-thread it back into the buckle and go on my way. It lasted fine for the rest of the trip out and back. I'm super pleased with the bag!

I bought this to transport my wife wedding gown. She loved it! Because of culture tradition I was not allowed in place near her gown. She packed her wedding dress in this garment bag and flew two hours. On our wedding day her gown was perfect. So I definitely recommend this garment bag.

Purchased this for our wedding down south, it fit my wedding dress, husbands suit and two other dresses. It was easy to carry and is a good quality. Much cheaper than a Wally bag! Would recommend!

Booked our destination wedding and bought this dress bag, it worked out great! My dress was size 18 with very poofy bottom, they called it a-line but the pictures looks like a ball gown lol. The bag was plenty long enough and fit my dress no problems! This bag had room for my dress, veil, hoop undergarment (hoops were tied smaller to fit in one of the pockets) shoes and bridal accessories. It folded easily and it was nice that the side snaps were adjustable to sinch it down and the handle strap was long enought to fit over my shoulder. I was amazed when the flight attendant fit the bag into the upper storage compartment, as it is not standard carry-on size. I'm hoping I will never need to use the bag again but would recommend to anyone booking a destination wedding. My only warning is that there is a clear panel near the top of the bag so if you are hiding your dress from your partner you will need to double bag or block out that window somehow. I chose to double bag inside the garment bag the dress store gave me. So my dress went into the cheap garment bag from the dress shop so my partner couldn't see then I put it I to this bag. I did not check the water resistance of the bag, it was only ever placed on clean, dry surfaces.

EDIT: Received full refund for the bag. Thank you for the great service! Used the bag twice. The main zipper head came off and will not go back on. Unfortunately we are past the return window.
