Reckhorn D-165 Subwoofer Chassis 175 mm (6.5 inch)

Not tested yet, but don't forsee any problems given the videos on YouTube and the quality of these thing's. These seem far better quality than speakers I've paid much more for. They even come with self tapping hex bolts which are black also. Only a minor annoyance, but one does have a small scratch on the cone. Currently finished my build enough to sound test, and wow.😮 These thing's are absolutely insane! In a sealed enclosure, heavily stuffed and acoustic deadening in 38l for 2 of these, the sound is incredible. No need to go ported, with EQ to fix the roll off I can get all the way down to below 30Hz at 0dB to match the other drivers. Musically these are great, these don't just do bass, they really are great for a 3 way speaker. Admittedly you would want to crossover before 700Hz, which I had taken into account and so they match so well. For the money you will not find a better 6.5" for a custom build. As a subwoofer on it's own, I don't doubt it either, but these really are very versatile. These will definitely feature in more of my future builds, these are an overlooked diamond.

Imagine these speakers manufactured by worldwide know brand, they would gain HI END status, they would cost a fortune having multiple awards given. Lucky for me and others is still an HI END speaker at ultra low price, and its got an award from me now. Got them playing as a warmup session in my car just for 8 hours so far. It's a 3 way system where woofers are working in 8L door enclosures at 50Hz-400Hz range, comparing to other woofers I've had (morel,rainbow,vibe,steg,rf,intertechnik,diamond) this is absolutely number 1 (dynamics,quality,sound pressure). I know some may say hold on a minute this is subwoofer not a woofer, yes thats right and it's best choice for 3 way application. I will never go back to classic woofers. They can go very very low in just 8 liter box with plenty of freshness and dynamics, you can't go wrong with them for sure. 10/10 for quality/price and this amazing bass response where you don't really need subwoofer :)

Also ich habe die Subwoofer bestellt um mein Soundsystem im Auto mit etwas Satteren, Tiefern Bass zu versorgen. Nicht wie die meisten das es gleich die Frontscheibe raus haut. Damals war ich auch auf dem Trip, aber inzwischen hat es sich bei mir beruhigt. Daher habe ich nach einer Kostengünstigen Alternative geschaut. Dann bin ich auf die Subwoofer von Reckhorn gestoßen. Dachte für knapp 40€ sehen die teile echt super aus, und als die Subwoofer ankamen nach 3 tagen. Dachte ich mir genau so wie auf den Bildern, sehr Robust und Hochwertig schon einmal sehr Positiver Ersteindruck. Dann habe ich mich an das Gehäuse gemacht Bilder lade ich hier auch hoch. Das Gehäuse hatte ich in 2 Tagen Komplett fertig zwar noch nicht von Außen bezogen aber soweit fertig um Probe zu hören. Und ich war sowas von erstaunt sogar daheim bei SEHR geringer Lautstärke wie Fein und Tief sie spielen. Auch wenn man mehr Saft drauf gibt haben die eine Extreme Auslenkung und ich habe kein Verzerren feststellen können, HAMMER !! Also bis jetzt top bin mehr als zufrieden kann den Subwoofer jedem empfehlen der einen Satten Sound haben will. Und für das Geld richtig geile Teile. Muss demnächst im Auto das Kabel verlegen mal schauen ob ich etwas höre, den ich verbaue die in einem Audi A4 B6 der ist hinten zu :/ !! Ich werde ein Update posten wie es im Auto klingt. Ich denke für einen Kombi wären es die Perfekten Tieftöner wo nicht viel platz wegnehmen. Ich hoffe ich konnte bei der Entscheidung weiterhelfen.

Moi j'ai produit un caisson de grave clos avec ce sub et il et exelent en profondeur de basse , mais pour bien les loi du cinéma moi j'ai inséré un tda 100w et un transformateur torique de 50va et un filtre passe bas actif en diy et je peut vous dire que le son et plus exelent que la plus part des caisson que j'ai testé, j'ai actuellement 50w rms et c'est largement suffisant pour un salon de 38 mètre carré, mon pot à vue le sub et il été très étonné du son que sa envoie, pour un petit diamètre je vous le recommande fortement.

Bell'aspetto, magnete di generosissime dimensioni e cestello in ghisa, ma persino un Pyle da car audio suona meglio di questo subwoofer. L'ho provato in tre enclosure diverse (isobarica di medie dimensioni, reflex, radiatore passivo, quest'ultima progettata specificatamente per il sub in questione tramite software di simulazione) e non ha un bel suono in nessuno di queste. Non regge neanche la potenza dichiarata, andando subito a xmax alla metà della potenza in isobarica, complice la morbidezza spropositata della sospensione, tra l'altro ingiustificata vista la bassa efficienza. Forse è un esagerazione chiamarlo "subwoofer". Molto insoddisfatto, l'ho restituito.

Estos altavoces tienen una gran calidad de sonido. Emiten unos graves profundos y sin distorsion. Son buenisimos!!. Es la tercera vez que los he comprado. Pero en esta ocasion en vez de mandarme los dos altavoces que entran en el precio, solo me han mandado uno. Amazon me ha reembolsado el precio pagado y he devuelto el altavoz. Ahora tengo el temor de que si lo vuelvo a comprar me manden solo 1 otra vez.

Ich baue und entwickle schon seit Jahren komplette Lautsprecher Systeme und habe schon viele unterschiedliche Lautsprecher getestet. Ich verwende den d-165 als tieftöner in Vollaktiv betriebenen Stereo Monitorlautsprecher, ca. 14l geschlossen. Was das Chassis abliefert ist genial. Ein sauberer trockener und sehr tiefen Bass. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei. Viele bemängeln die fehlende Polkernbohrung, die aber nicht nötig ist, da die Schwingspule über schlitze hinter der Dustcap belüftet wird. Einzigste Mangelpunkt ist dass das Chassis bei Front Einbau nicht sonderlich hübsch aussieht. Aber bei Rückmontage (wie auf meinen Bildern) ist das kein Problem Alles in allem ein top high end Chassis, dass es so für den Preis gar nicht geben dürfte. Absolute Empfehlung
