This is a really good flask. Purchased to take to Lapland for soup or noodles and it's the perfect size! We will also use to take out paddleboarding. The quality is amazing, I have cheaper ones but the quality is not as good. It keeps the good very hot until lunchtime. Not used it yet for a full day but highly satisfied so far.

Bought first time in 2012. Initially used for work lunch. This food flask is now mainly used for school lunch. It keeps food hot, even after school hours. It holds enough for one serving (though that is if you don't eat a lot), and the food still smells OK and retains freshness. It is easy to wash and easy to transport. In this instance, it goes into another bag, which is placed inside a school bag. Over time, the black paint on the flask has been peeling off, but it is still usable without affecting its effectiveness. Have already bought two more of these.

Brilliant food flask - it really does keep food hot hot for the kids lunches. The paint has started to mark and flake off so a bit disappointed with that - function is perfect though 👍🏻

In a word - Fantastic. (Thermos Food Flash 470ml Blue) bought direct from Amazon on Prime 1 day delivery. What can I say, I mean, just read the other reviews for more detail, I dont write reviews often but I just HAD to chime in and confirm this was indeed a good... GREAT buy. I'll try to be brief. I've used it for 3 days so far. The flask keeps the food hot, simple. And the metal spoon is great. It folds away neatle and is STRONG too. None of this plastic spoon rubbish. And it looks good on the desk too (The blue one is the one I have). Just to give a better idea than, its great, its hot. Heres some timings. Day 1 8am - Add hot water as per instruction to pre-heat. Removed after 10 minutes and took to hotel breakfast restaurant. 8.30am - Hotel Microwaved my diet food soup and put into flask. Off to work. Approx 1pm - Opened the flask. The food was hot!!! Great! Day 2 Ddint use it in the day, but thought I would be inventive. Im in a hotel, limited and bought some of those typical hot-dogs-in-a-tin (mine were in plastic wrapping but same thing). I WAS going to have them cold. BUT, then I saw the Thermos flask on the desk. *Lightbulb moment* Broke the hotdogs in half, threw them into the flask, boiled some water, and put the lid on. Watched some TV, about 10 minutes later, opened the flask, got the foldable spoon out, and fished out the hotdogs. They were piping hot!!! Fantastic. Boil-your-own-food-in-a-flask at the hotel moment. Normally the hot water into a mug wouldnt stay hot enough to properly heat the hotdogs, but this worked great! So needless to say, im even happier now! Maybe this will even work for instant noodles. Day 3 This time I was too rushed to pre-heat the flask, and I went straight down to breakfast. 8.30am - Hotel microwaved my diet food soup and put into flask. Off to work. Approx 2pm (So an hour later than the pre-heated day 1) Opened the flask. The soup was hot!! Like hot as in had to sip it a little hot. Not warm, hot! If I was going to be picky, I wouldnt say steaming hot, but none-the-less. But what do you expect, it was actually microwaved food, so I didnt think that would stay as hot as actual cooked or boiled food. And I forgot to pre-heat the flask. Perfect flask, the best one i’ve ever had! So far it’s kept my food and drinks piping hot for five hours, but once i’ve opened the lid and closed it again it doesn’t kept the heat. When I have a drink from it I find a metallic taste but this does not happen when I use it for soup or any other food. The two clear parts can easily stain but soaking it overnight in sterilising fluid got it back to normal!

I have been using this food flask for work lunches and it has been really good. The build feels strong and the stainless steel keeps meals hot for hours. I fill it in the morning and the food is still warm and fresh by lunchtime. Cold food stays chilled as well, so it works for different types of meals. Es ist die zweite Thermos King Dose, die ich gekauft habe. Die sind stabil und langlebig, selbst wenn sie auf den Boden fallen. Wenn das Essen richtig heiß eingefüllt würd, halt es mehrere Stunden heiß, es hängt allerdings auch davon ab, wie flüssig die Speise war. Je flüssiger, desto länger hält es heiß. Was auch super funktioniert, ist das Kalthalten von Eiswürfeln für den Transport, wenn man im Sommer draußen kalte Getränke mixen will oder eben nicht ständig in die Küche rennen. Da schmilzt ebenfalls stundenlang nichts. Die Dosen halten auch nach Jahren des Gebrauchs dicht. Also für sie neue Dose kann ich das natürlich nicht nicht sagen, aber die erste, baugleiche Dose ist nun mindestens acht Jahre alt und ständig im Gebrauch und funktioniert einwandfrei, obwohl inzwischen mal der Boden abgegangen ist. 0,5 p könnte für manche für Mittagessen vielleicht zu klein sein aber es gibt sie ja auch in größer. Die Öffnung könnte etwas größer sein, aber ist auch okay.

Very original thermos flask! Keeps my soup hot for almost 8 hours. It closes perfectly and has no leaks. It’s light and has a big opening making it easy to clean. Has a foldable spoon and it’s convenient to eat directly from it.
