Fiberglass Cloth,4 Ounce E-Glass,50 inches 5 Yards,62 Sq Feet

It’s advertised as 4oz cloth it’s not, it’s 3~3.3oz cloth. 4oz cloth 15ft at 50” wide would weigh 787g this weighs 605g when weighed. The packaging says length 15ft width 50in 610g, 4oz glass. Mathematically that’s not possible. This is 3oz glass. One extra star because if you do the math you can learn the truth from the weight listed on the packaging it’s close to the true weight. It’s also plain weave not twill as others noted. Probably fine for the right application but if you want 4oz cloth this is not it. Returned.

I used this fabric paired with a quick dry, two part resin to add rigidity to a custom ceiling panel for my van. I had no clue what I was doing before watching a couple of YouTube videos and tackling this project. I should have used a heavier fabric but two layers got the job done and I'm satisfied with how it turned out.

tough to work compared to heavier weight fabric.

Not great but not bad. It should come in a roll. I am using it for surfboards
