absolutely excellent and simple espresso machine. Its a good quality built with lots of stainless steel plating. Coffee tastes great from it and you can make espresso, americano (just add hot water to espresso shot :) and cappuccino very efficiently. I disagree with the comment below stating the froth arm is useless - quite the contrary - I made really great, foamy froth with it and its detachable for easy cleaning and has rubber band so you can position it even when its hot. What is really great about it (and I was not able to find in competitors products) that you can remove the bottom tray and insert taller cups! I was looking for this feature but could not seem to find it in other products. That's what sold it to me, the little extra feature. Only minor criticism is that the supplied tapering spoon is plastic, it would have been great if it was stainless steel. But I guess you can just buy those if you really want it. There are lots of coffee makers in this price category but the Excelvan does great job and delivers everything one might need from espresso machine.

Great machine that produces a nice crema. Nice size water capacity really easy to use. I would suggest buying a different tamper as the one that comes with the machine is slightly to small so you don't get a nice flat even top. The steam wand hasn't quite got the best angle and is a little low so you have to have the machine over the edge of your work surface so you can get your frothing jug under.

OMG husband loves it! Hasn’t put it down since xmas. We’re bouncing off the walls with the amount of coffee we’re drinking!! Really easy to use and makes a decent cup of coffee. Was a bit concerned by the negative reviews, but we’ve had no problems. Metal bits do get very hot (obviously) and the frother/steamer could be more flexible (yes I’ve burned myself!). It is a bit noisy but nothing too bad and to be honest, all proper machines are. I can highly recommend this item and don’t know how we lived without one for so long!

I’ve been very excited for this coffee machine to arrive but I’ve Only used it for a week and it’s already broken! The steamer doesn’t work at all. It comes out water and the hot steam is coming out from where the coffee is supposed to leAk. I totally do not recommend it to anyone to spend money on such bad quality product! I’m totally disappointed!!!

To be honest this coffee maker takes a bit of faffing around and I find it a bit labourious. The steam wand is badly designed and the milk jug has to be held and then milk tipped out at an angle. Although I use occasionally, for the most part I have gone back to the percolator and heat milk up in the microwave.

Fantastic value for money and very easy to use, we have been very impressed. A fraction of the price of most machines and makes excellent coffee. Takes any ground coffee, which is a huge advantage over pod machines. The steamer arm is quick to heat and froth your milk. Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, hot milk for chocolate drinks, or just heat a cup of water for tea!

This arrived today what a great machine love it..coffee is fab my hubby loves it says best coffee he's had. Looks fab in my kitchen very happy with my purchase..only slight moan it doesn't stop when cup is full so you have to watch it.but I can live with that's..perfect for cost..

Good for one or two cups at a time. Milk steamer provided. Works for me. If you are too lazy to clean it after you'd be better with a capsule device. I'm pleased with this entry level barista style coffee maker. I use it every day. The steam pressure is barely adequate but suitable for me.
