OMT AC Manifold Gauge Set with 5ft Hoses for R1234yf R404a R134a, 4 Way

Worked great for refilling 1234 refrigerant. Used my vac pump and Honeywell cans available on Amz. All parts were less than $200. About 2hrs to get it done (hard to reach LP valve in my truck). I believe this is a $700 shop job, or just around there.

Used this on my 5th generation RAV4, absolutely perfect! Others have left reviews saying connections don't work correctly, can taps are bad, etc. maybe they got a bad one, I won't judge, but I used every piece of this kit and I can find NOTHING to complain about! The can tap required a little more tightening than it initially felt like it did, but once I figured it out, it was actually very good. Remember, 1234yf taps are LEFT HAND THREAD. Honestly I was a bit nervous about this purchase, but I am nothing but pleased. UPDATE: I have now had the opportunity to use this kit a several more times on different vehicles, and again am nothing but happy about the quality of the unit. The only gripe I have is that the case is just too small to CONVENIENTLY place the hoses in for storage. You can get them in there, but it's more of a challenge than it should be. ALL the similar kits from every brand appear to use the same case, so what are you gonna do? At any rate, as I mentioned earlier, maybe someone indeed got a bad one, but if you know what you are doing, I see no issues with this product. By the way, always replace valve cores when you recharge, as they are known to fail after a few years, and its inexpensive. Be sure to buy yourself a valve core torque tool so you don't overtighten the valve cores when you put new ones in, supposedly that's the number one cause of core failures. Good luck!

Great equipment for auto technicians

It worked very well. There were no leaks using the quick-connect hoses, and the gauges were easy to read. It works as described, and I used it to recharge more than one auto AC system. The savings from not having to pay a shop more than paid for the set.

This kit has everything needed to add some refrigerant. Because the information was nowhere to be found, I'm adding it. The two adapters listed as #7 allows these gauges to be connected to a 1234-yf 10 lb or 25 lb tank. And to a vacuum pump. If doing a component replacement you will need a vacuum pump. Used once but worked great.

Don't bother with this manifold. Just get one that's dedicated to R134a or YF. Gauge is confusing to read and it leaks so not a good product. I made sure all the knobs were closed, installed the high side and the low pressure side raised up like it has an internal leak.
