Urbanears - Hellas Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Trail

I had to check when I bought these - it’s approaching June 2018 and I got these in June 2016! I’ve used these for every run, three per week, rain or shine - simply brilliant. And it’s not just their reliability; the sound is great for podcasts or music - exceptional for this price range (I also own Oppo PM3s).

Brilliant for the gym, travel or just relaxing.Great sound, and really good bass. Not boomy, just solid and controlled.Ear pads can get a little tiring after an hour or so, but a quick adjustment and they’re fine.Highly recommended, especially at the price

I love how light these headphones are, the folding mechanism, and the battery life. It makes these really portable. They sound fine too (highs are a little muddy, but that's okay). Unfortunately the negatives mean I can't live with these.Firstly, they're extremely tight and make my ears ache after about 20 minutes of wearing them, secondly I cannot turn them on when I want. The touch control action to turn them on is very unresponsive, though I can usually turn them off fine. I press and hold my finger for 4 seconds multiple times all around the touch area and I cannot consistently get them to turn on - maybe 1 in 10 times only. If they had a proper power button I could probably deal with the comfort issue but I had to return these.I've tried a few of Urbanears' products at demos and I can safely say they are a 'style over substance' brand. It's a shame as I really liked the design of these. My search for the perfect portable bluetooth headphones goes on...
