Great RC helicopter for kids
Bought this as a gift and it worked perfectly. The helicopter looks great, feels sturdy, and is easy to control, even for beginners. It flies smoothly and is a lot of fun to use. Battery life is reasonable for the size, and overall quality is better than expected for the price. Definitely a good buy and a nice gift option.

So Much Fun – Great for Beginners and Kids!
I purchased the SYMA S51H RC Helicopter as a gift and it’s been a huge hit! The design is super cool, especially with the military-style details and the bright LED light that makes flying in the evening extra fun. It’s surprisingly stable in the air thanks to the altitude hold feature, which makes it a lot easier for beginners to fly without crashing. The one-key takeoff and landing is a huge plus, especially for kids or anyone new to RC helicopters. It also gives a low battery reminder, which helps avoid it falling from the sky unexpectedly. Battery life is decent for the size, and it charges fairly quickly. Overall, this is a fantastic and durable little helicopter that’s easy to control and a lot of fun for both kids and adults. Highly recommend for a first RC helicopter or just a fun gift!

Includes remote control
I bought this SYMA helicopter and I really liked the quality of the product. It comes well packaged and with its remote control ready to use. It is light, resistant and very easy to handle, even for people who have no experience with this type of toy. The design is beautiful and realistic, and the propellers work stablely. The battery lasts a reasonable time and recharges without problem. It is ideal for indoor use and also for children to have fun under supervision.

Bought 2, one just flew away, second barely works at all!
Update a month later - well it took a few weeks but the company reached and and gave us a refund! While not impressed with the product the company was solid! What a POS!!! Took it out of the box from Santa and the remote was completely unresponsive and my son watched his gift just fly away. Ruined our Christmas morning watching him cry. “Santa” also bought one for his brother and while that one didn’t fly away, the controls again don’t work and just crashed into walls. And no… not operator error. Myself and multiple family members can’t get these to work.

Awesome Fun toy !
Buckle up for a closer look at this seriously cool military helicopter! This isn't just any toy; it's a pretty detailed replica of the Black Hawk, the versatile chopper known for everything from combat missions to transport and rescue operations. That means your kids can really let their imaginations run wild with all sorts of scenarios. The size is just right, not too bulky at around 7.5 inches long, making it perfect for indoor missions or even taking it to the park. Now, what really sets this helicopter apart is how easy it is to fly. Even if you've never touched a remote control helicopter before, you'll be zipping around in no time. It's got one-key takeoff and landing, which is fantastic for beginners, and the auto-hover feature keeps it stable in the air, so you don't have to constantly adjust the controls. Trust me, that's a game-changer! And the fun doesn't stop there. This helicopter uses 2.4GHz frequency technology, which means you can fly multiple helicopters at the same time without any interference. Imagine the epic dogfights or rescue missions you can create with friends and family! It's a great way to get everyone involved and have some quality time together. Safety is also a big plus. It has intelligent obstacle detection, so if you get too close to a wall or furniture, it'll cut the power to prevent crashes. And there's a low battery warning light, so you'll always know when it's time to land and recharge. No more unexpected crashes! Beyond just being a fun toy, this helicopter is actually educational. It helps kids develop hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and spatial awareness. They'll be learning without even realizing it! Plus, it encourages creativity and imaginative play. Finally, the company really stands behind their product. It comes with a clear instruction manual, extra accessories, and they even offer dedicated customer support if you have any questions or need help with maintenance. So, if you're looking for a gift that's both fun and educational, this military helicopter is definitely worth checking out. It's durable, easy to fly, and packed with features that will keep kids entertained for hours.

Extremely Durable, Easy to use, Responsive Controls.
Recommendations for devices such as these are very warranted for longevity and effortless play. Cooling down the battery before charging, as well as the same for taking off charger on full. Seems to make steering more reliable, "tested". Especially after crash, resetting the controller and turn off/on the helicopter, all work flawlessly to get the device up and running again no issue. Can't believe how much fun you can have in 10 minutes, and time goes by so quick. A pure analog experience on the controller, and at this price point, what a value. This is a small device, so things such as narrow hallways really give way to the steering, as well as navigating around ceiling fans. The same was experienced outside on a windy day. As expected i guess affecting the lift, but it did a pretty amazing job fighting against, kind of putting it under the most pressure it could be made for, so having it hold up to that, speaks to the build quality. Whether trying to navigate rooms in the home, or make shift traps setup to navigate around or through, the fun seems almost endless. When my daughter gets older, I can see us racing 2 of them around the house for sure. I probably didn't come to the far stretches of reach for the range of the device, but i did hover consistently as well as maneuver around the WiFi router, just to see if the 2.4ghz would be interfered with, and to my surprise, no issue at all.

Good but be gentle on the switch
Good little helicopter. The 'On' and 'Off' switch is very fragile. If it snaps off there is no real way to turn it on or off. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star. Be gentle with the on/off switch. If the manufacturer is reading this, make that sliding switch stronger and you will have a superior product.

Easy and Safe
I got this helicopter as a Christmas present for my eight year old son, and it was a winner. Syma's coaxial helicopters have traditionally been extremely stable and easy to fly, and this AH-64 Apache version is no exception. In fact, this version takes that ease to an entirely new level with the inclusion of altitude hold and automatic takeoff and landing capabilities. Essentially, with this helicopter, the RC pilot mostly needs to focus on steering rather than making constant throttle adjustments, or figuring out how much throttle input is needed on takeoff and landing. This is because the altitude remains relatively stable throughout the flight, due to the altitude hold feature, and takeoff and landings are automatically given the appropriate throttle input with the push of a button. I have flown several different Syma coaxial helicopters for more than 10 years. In fact, I have the older version of this helicopter that lacked the altitude hold, and it's a night and day difference between the two. My son took to this new version almost immediately, and has really enjoyed the experience. The scale model detail of the AH-64 Apache version is really quite nice as well, which adds to the experience. My son loved how real it looks. The other thing I really like about the newer Syma models is that they use actual radio transmitters rather than legacy infrared transmitters. On the earlier infrared versions I've flown, I used to occasionally experience signal loss or interference from LED lights or sunlight shining through the windows. However, this current generation of Syma helicopters have solved that problem by using 2.4 GHz radios for controlling the helicopter. I suppose even a 2.4 GHz transmitter could encounter interference, but I personally haven't had any problems yet. The new features do add to the cost, but they are a welcome improvement compared with the older versions. All that said, nothing is perfect, and this helicopter does have some disadvantages. However, those disadvantages are fairly minor. First, the altitude hold, while very nice, is not perfect. The helicopter does not always maintain a fixed altitude during a flight. So, the pilot may occasionally need to make some minor throttle adjustments to avoid a coffee table, sofa, etc. Next, the automatic landing feature brings the helicopter down for a landing at a slow and steady rate, which makes landings simple. However, the descending rate is hard enough that the helicopter will bounce on landing, which does take away from the realism a bit. Again, it's a minor quibble. Other things just to keep in mind. First, the blades do spin fairly fast, and they do sting if they hit your skin or a pet's skin. They could cause eye damage as well, so be mindful when using them. The blades can also scratch leather furniture, TV screens, finished woodwork, etc., so you want to avoid crashing into these things or cover them with a blanket while flying. Lastly, Apache helicopter's wing-like weapons hard points (places where the rockets and missiles are attached) can catch drafts and impact the flight characteristics. So, in a room with strong HVAC vents you may encounter "turbulence" if your furnace or air conditioning is running. This could be either a fun challenge or terrifying experience depending on the skill of your pilot :-) Some of the models that are more streamlined than the Apache version of this helicopter are less impacted by HVAC systems--although even these other models will experience some flight impact from any amount of wind or HVAC vents. Oh, and along those lines, these helicopters are nearly unflyable outdoors because any amount of wind will hinder flight. One other consideration is that the controls on these helicopters differ significantly from drones, fixed pitch helicopters, and collective pitch RC helicopters. So, it's actually a little challenging switching from one of these Symas to another version of RC aircraft. Honestly, if you are planning to use these Syma helicopters as a trainer for a fixed pitch or collective pitch, they are actually not that great due to the control differences. If you are planning to start flying more advanced drones or helicopters at some point, you might as well skip one of these and purchase a fixed pitch helicopter that has altitude hold since the controls are so different. Those fixed pitch trainer helicopters are not significantly more expensive that these coaxial Symas, and they give a much more realistic flying experience and better preparation for more advanced RC systems. But, if you're just looking for a fun, fairly realistic looking helicopter to fly around the house, these are a great choice.

It's very fast and easy to handle
I recently got this Syma RC helicopter, and it has really impressed me. The military-style design looks amazing, and the level of detail on the body and blades gives it a very realistic appearance. It’s extremely easy to control, even for beginners, thanks to its stable flight and the well-designed remote buttons. The hover function works great and helps the helicopter maintain its height smoothly, making flights much easier and reducing crashes. The controller responds well, and the blades are durable, which is perfect for anyone who is still learning to fly. Overall, this is a fun, stable, and well-built helicopter. It’s a great option for a gift or personal use. Totally recommended! 🚁✨

Cute but fragile
This is a cute toy bought as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately was broken beyond repair within a day. We bought another model, with the same outcome.
