Charging time. How long does the lamp take to recharge? I’ve had it plugged in for 5 hours and the red light is still flashing . Thank you

The first time I charged the lamp it took some time - perhaps it wasn't fully charged when it arrived. Also make sure it's plugged in to the mains properly as the special plug needed to plug the flex into, and then in to the power, needed a 'wiggle' to make sure it made proper connection. After a first long charge I found it then lasted quite a long time, but can't give you and length of time. WR

Does the lamp come fully assembled? If not, is it easy to assemble?

It doesn't come assembled, but wasn't too tricky to put together. If I had any gripe about it, I feel the cable is borderline too short. Once the main pole has been attached the final part is to scree the bendy, lamp head section. It is obviously possible to put together, just a bit tight to do the last bit. We love the lamp. My wife is using it to light her knitting and the quality of light is great. It would have been nice if it had a remote control, but that's not a deal breaker. I would certainly recommend this lamp.

Can the lamp shade be detached from the rest of the lamp if we want to change the shade to something else at some point?

Hello, it is possible to change the lampshade to another style, as long as you can find a suitable size mounting cloth shade

Can you put this light in a continuous charge or not to enable it to light continuously
