Cold Brew Organic Breakfast Blend Coffee, Coarse Ground, Medium Roast, 2 LB, for Cold Brewing & French Press

I have had this coffee on my subscribe and save for years. I order two bags a month. Recently multiple bags have been delivered open and spilling all over the boxes. It’s a non-returnable, non-refundable item. I believe it’s the manufacturer’s issue because usually the bags are open where they should be sealed at the top or bottom. It’s really too bad because I love this cold brew. I’m probably going to cancel my subscription because I can’t be paying for bags of coffee that are open.

It's a good deal for ground coffee that makes nice, smooth cold brew. Unfortunately, poor Amazon shipping has twice led to a broken bag of coffee. I open the Amazon shipping bag, and it's filled with loose ground coffee. It's not a returnable item, and Amazon's automated response is frustrating.

Flavor was wonderful. I am very picky with coffee. I like cold brew and prefer strong coffee. With cold brew it’s easier to change the strength. This was perfect using the instructions on the package, not too strong, great taste and excellent quality. I’ll definitely repurchase and have tried however the flavor I want has been out of stock for a month!

I use a French Press to make my coffee and lately I've been bouncing around looking for something that is of quality and price. I guess I could use regular ground and deal with the press and once even wound up with a can of coffee from a store that was delivered to me by mistake and was told to keep it. That was an espresso ground that is so fine don't even bother with a press.So my package was delivered today and even if I wanted to take off a point for it not being in a resealable package I would still give it 5 stars. I use 1/4 cup to a 20 oz. measure of water. My Amazon Basics electric kettle brings the water to a boil, but doesn't keep boiling the water. Within 5 minutes of being in the press this aroma just permeates my house and made me want to pour right away, but I usually give my coffee 10 minutes in the press.The real test of coffee to me is taste it black and this didn't disappoint. Not a killer dark roast that will knock you on your butt, but enough strength with still being smooth.I have an air tight container that holds the coffee and will probably try out the cold brew recipe at some point as well.I don't review everything I purchase from Amazon. It has to either impress me or disappoint me.

I've ordered this specific brand for probably over 5 months now; I generally go through a 2lb bag every 2ish weeks. When I first started ordering, I was ordering 1lb, thinking I wouldn't use it that much but I do unfortunately. Now while it was extremely fresh for the first couple of months, I have to knock a star off due to the fact that after those first couple of months, the bags have started to come with some break somewhere in the bag(never really look that hard), but since it has started to come that way, this means air is getting into the bags, and the more it's exposed to the air, the faster the quality becomes degraded, if you will. It makes their degassing valve irrelevant, as the valve is designed to be one way, but there's not much point to it, if their bags are compromised to begin with, either from employees there, or at the Amazon warehouse, as that's where it's being stored.So, tl:dr quality is very good, almost as good as freshly ground. But bags are being compromised now, and thus the longer they sit, the less fresh it's becoming. They need to look into their bag design, and renew it, or have it stored a different way now.
