Keeps my dog from getting in the cat box. And getting sick

I purchased this box to keep the litter dry and for our situation it does a perfect job. Our deck has a very high cover, so most of the time rain is not coming straight down onto the litter box lid. This box lid is one complete piece with no holes, so water cannot get in. As other reviews state, the lid does not attach. The lid sits on the base but is heavy enough that wind does not blow it off. The shape and weight of the lid requires two hands to remove. It has been perfect for our needs.

It's really a nice size, but the lid will not attach securely. That is the reason for the four star review. Since we have terrible winds almost daily, I secured the lid with a bungee cord. Hopefully the feral cat I ordered it for will use it rather than our flowerbeds.

Works well to keep the dog out of the cat poop. However, would be even better if it had a plexiglass window on the top to let light in, and so I can see without taking the whole top half off to check if it needs cleaning because my cat potties outside half the time.

Very well made - the lid snaps on beautifully. This has been a saving grace as we have a cat and dogs. Keeps the dogs from trying to get into the cat litter.

Awful litter box, the top doesn’t snap on so when cat goes inside he whole rope comes off. Completely useless for its purpose. Don’t waste your money

Keeps the dog out which is wonderful, but the latching can be very frustrating.

I needed a litter box that could withstand heavy rain on my balcony. It's partially undercover, but most litter boxes got soaking wet from the rain regardless because of the opening. This litter box has been the perfect solution for that and the cat has been using it for months. I like that it's lightweight and easy to clean, the top doesn't click into the bottom part but it stays put, just makes it easier to open & close in my opinion.
