Lint free swabs for cleaning the heads on my reel to reel recorder. Very absorbent too. Will absorb quite a bit on alcohol if you dip it straight into a bottle prior to cleaning so use caution there.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This item was suggested by a sewing machine repair man. I love these swabs, it fits in most tight spaces on all my sewing machines. Grabs the dirt and lint with ease. Perfect tool for your sewing machine.

These are much better than using Q Tips and leave nothing behind on the heads when using for cassette and reel to reel mechanisms. The only drawback is the heads of these tips are a bit big for smaller areas around some cassette designs.

I've been using the Wellgler's Tape Head Cleaning swabs to clean up some vintage audio equipment as well as repairing 8 track tapes. The swabs have a long handle to get down into hard to reach places. The handle is flexible enough to allow you to put pressure on it without it breaking. The pads hold a good amount of rubbing alcohol without dripping. They have held up extremely well, they don't leave any material behind and they don't get fuzzy like the cotton tip swabs. I will buy these again.

Did a great job cleaning out lint!

I bought these to clean out a computer keyboard. The pads and sticks are a little thicker than I think would be ideal, but they did the job, and they hold up better than some of the products sold specifically for that task. I anticipate these being handy for any number of projects, and I expect to keep a quantity on hand for those eventualities.

Do the job falls apart if you use to hard but get into tight areas It would had bin great if the handle was longer but did the job alone with a tone of others Im using I got doing a semi ground up custom Motorcycle Restoration with a polished motor and Trans With out pull both out of the bike frame you at the mercy of tight spaces as I was but this helped But hear is the kicker for me .. My Daughter rolls in from the jersey shore with her porscher Macan the whole front of the suv was Covered with mosquitoes like I've never seen in my life if I say 1 million I'm shortened But they were in places only these cleaners co get into well after using a degreaser and a plastic razor blade And 3 hours of hand work it got it all out even a power wash count get all like these cleaners got to So for that reason im giving it a 5 star .screw the bike motor ...it did what i needed in my daughter car
