This is perfect!
From the moment I unpacked the S700, I knew I was getting something special. The build is rugged yet lightweight, and the 1.9 L tank delivers impressive performance for its size. According to SMACO, the air volume is rated at 1.9 L/2 L and the tank supports a working pressure up to 3000 psi/200 bar. What really stood out: The portability is astounding. At only ~3.6 kg (the S700 spec) and just 42.9 cm long, it’s so much easier to handle than a full-size scuba tank. Filling options are flexible — you can refill at a dive shop, via an adapter from a larger tank, or even a compact compressor. That makes it super convenient. The performance met my expectations. In shallow water (~3 m), I got a solid dive time (~20-25 minutes) as listed. Safety features are reassuring: DOT/CE certification, explosion-proof valve, high-pressure cylinder design. The regulator and purge valve worked smoothly, no leaks or weird behavior. Ease of assembly was good (just follow the instructions) and everything felt high-quality.

easy to put on airplane
It was good and handy for an air trip. I got an air pump to fill it up in Kona, Hawaii. The only thing is it takes an hour to fill out and only 15 to 20 mins to get empty, but rather than that, it is a good deal for people who want to snorkel for a short time.

Legit Hobby Tank
This is a cool hobby tank for the price. You prob shouldn't get the hand pump thing that they sometimes sell in my opinion as I've heard it's tough to use. The accessory quality like the tank holder is super high quality and built to last. Easy to buy fancier asseccories like regulator if it becomes a more serious hobby. I have a few of these and they are fun for shallow dives near the coast. Nice finish quality and great for a hobbyist or someone just getting their foot in the door. I use these on the NC/SC coast and have also taken them with me when spear fishing. Didn't have any issues. Pics with real view of total package.

Looks like it's good quality and excited to get it in the water
I bought this to use on a cruise that we booked coming up next march. Took it out of the box everything was well packed and appears to be of good quality. It fits into the small backpack nice and snug so I don't think I'm going to be worried about it moving around while diving. I'm looking forward to putting it to use!

False advertisement.
i'll start with the good. the mouth piece is very comftorable and the vest that holds the actual tank on you isn't bad either. However, the actual dive time advertised is falls, and it only really lasts between 5-8 minutes. very dissapointed. I only got a chance to try it out a couple months after purchase and so unfortunately wasn't able to ask for a refund on the item, which i most definitely would have done. I have diving experience so it's not that I "wasn't using proper breathing technique". It's just simply false advertisement. Don't buy the tank, it's not worth the money for the amount of diving time you get out of it.

Good tank, bad support.
Not happy with support but the tank works fine. Some parts are not working and very hard to replace.

Great for short diving adventures
This scuba tank is great for short diving adventures. It doesn't weigh much at all, so it's easy to swim with it. The operation is simple; anyone would be able to work it. Since it's small, it doesn't cost much to get it filled. It comes with a handy bag to keep everything organized and to transport the equipment safely and securely.

Good for boat owners
I was looking for an inexpensive "scuba" system that I can use to clean the hull of my boat. First I read the review "The SMACO Scuba Sytem: A Brutally Honest Review" by DIVEIN which helped me to understand the pros and cons. I have used the system a couple of times this season and now conclude the following: - This is not a cheap alternative to an actual scuba system! - The 2 Liter tank will only last 5 minutes when cleaning the boat (physical activity). Basically, I need two fills to get the job done. - The buoyancy cannot be controlled easily since it has no BCD. In my case the positive buoyancy helps me to clean the boat hull. - I wouldn't use this beyond 10 feet for safety reasons. - I recommend refilling the tank at a dive shop since the HEAP-1 compressor brings risks. After filling my tank with the HEAP-1 compressor for the third time the air had a very strong odor. Although the manual recommended changing the filter element every 5 to 6 times the filter was soaking wet even after one refill. The HEAP-1 doesn't properly filter out and dry air which leads to moisture build-up in the tank. After getting a better filter the air quality has improved. But it is not comparable to the air you get from the dive shop. Bottom line the system is good for boat owners to clean the hull, change the prop or retrieve a stuck anchor or items that went overboard. However, it is not a scuba system and the air quality is a concern if you use the HEAP-1 or a comparable compressor. I gave it 4 starts since it is perfect for me as a boat owner for occasional use but I wouldn't use it for scuba diving (I am a certified diver).
