what is the expiration date on the HP 11 yellow printhead?

On my HP 11 printheads they all have the date of 2006 and 2007,  The ink cartridges have a expirate date also.  The printer product has a special date on the main computer board that compares the expiration date of cartridges and printheads and checks for 'within' dates.  On the printhead I found a printing date on top of the head.  Some printers have a way to reset the date on the printer and that may be listed in your ownwer's manual.  As My 1200dtwn printer does not print any more and the printheads are out of date, I will replace the out of date printheads and see what happens then. But it is hard to find parts for these older machines now, so keep that in mind.

Will this come clogged like the rest from sitting for years?  Why the price increase from $62 to $76 when these havent been in production for years?

The warranty date is two years after the cartridge was manufactured, but without seeing the box that the actual cartridge came in, it's impossible to tell you if it may have dried up.  As for the price increase, you'll need to contact the vendor about that, but I can tell you that these ink cartridges are still in production.
