Have used this tent a few times now, its good! Bedroom divider unzips to make one large bedroom which is made from blackout material keeping morning sunshine and heat at bay for a few extra hours, its surprising how dark it is during blazing sunshine. I camp with just myself and two small dogs, so its quite palatial, would be equally roomy for 2 adults and child. Putting it up by myself has been a little challenging but once I figured out my routine its perfectly do-able (see below). It comes in a large and fairly heavy bag (its a large tent), it lives in the attic when I’m not camping, getting it up there is another challenge which often means breaking out into a sweat. I leave the inner sleeping tent attached still inside when I pack it away. It fits in the bag easily enough, even when doing it all myself. When its up, I have an inflatable double mattress in the bedroom with a small table, huge amounts of room for bags/clothes etc. In the living space, I have a double inflatable settee and foot stall, camping larder with cooker and large fridge, it doesn’t feel cramped. Good views out through the large windows. The large main door has a fly screen which is great at keeping the buzzy things out during the evening. Lots of places to run power cables in from site supply or solar and to hang up lamps etc. It will be extremely comfy and easy to put up for/with two adults. I wouldn’t want to be stuck in it for two long (raining days etc) with more than 2 adults + child, maybe two. The quality seems good with no sign of wear and tear. Overall, very pleased. Putting it up on your own (approx 30 mins) 1. Peg out just the middle hooks in the ground sheet 2. Put all of the poles/frames in the sleeves (colour coded) with exception to the awning 3. Erect the front frame upright with just one guy line (the middle line) holding it in sort-of place 4. Erect the next one in a similar fashion (groundsheet will probably be all over the place, but give you lots of wiggle room) 5. The last frame, again peg out with a single guy line (the middle one) 6. Wiggle groundsheet around in to place 7. Insert the awning poles and attach to front frame 8. Peg all the remaining ground sheet hooks and guy lines out and tighten everything up. *If you peg the groundsheet into place before erecting the tent, it will be a nightmare.

I am 6'7" which is 2m. I can stand upright in this tent. The black out bedroom makes for a cool bedroom. Whilst the sides are completely blacked out. There is fortunately dimmed light leakage from the rear air vent and around the inner tent hanging points and there are air vent mesh along the roof of the inner tent. I can see Coleman designed this to prevent a total blackout. You certainly get blinded when you do open the zipped doors in the morning. I have this at the moment for two people. I bought a Quechua double ridged thin airbed which is 140cm wide but the zipped partition bedroom is 130cm wide. But as it unzipped, I used bedroom as one area not two. It's very cool in the bedroom. 2017 Easter Sunday in Hampshire East Meon was t-shirt warm but was considerably cooler in the tent. Totally waterproof and has Bathtub floor so won't get flooded out by campsite in the English summer. It really needs two people to put up. Tunnel style. Extremely sturdy poles that dont bend. Very well designed tent with quality materials. 1/5th less than list price off of Amazon. No see um mesh in bedroom upper doors which can be zipped shut. Also has mosketo fly net on doors - elsewhere said it didn't. SPF50 a great bonus. So hopefully won't cook in the summer if want a lie in or afternoon nap.

I bought this tent with the view to use it on family camping trips or even in the back garden with the kids. When it arrived the kids and I were really looking forward to opening it up and setting it up. We opened the box and took a look at the instructions (which are quite limited, I would recommend watching the video on the Coleman website) and decided to start putting it up. Armed with the knowledge from our recently watched video we were ready to go and proceeded to set up the tent. With 2 adults I would say you can easily pitch this tent in 20 minutes. With 2 kids helping you can easily add another 30 minutes :) . Please note that the time I stated to pitch the tent does not include the time to undo all of the guide ropes from their initial position and peg them. For this I would say add another 20 minutes. Unfortunately for us, during the unboxing process we noticed that arguably the most important pole that supports the flap over the entrance was broken. This meant that the porch area at the front would have to be left loose unless replacement poles / or a solution was found. (more about this later). The quality of the material is generally good (waterproof fabric, stitching, steel poles, blackout technology). The only thing that let it down for us was the broken fibreglass pole. As the pole was shorter than expected when unboxing I do not know how long the replacement pole should have been and therefore ordering a generic replacement was tricky. Coleman customer service were absolutely terrible responding to questions and finding replacement poles is almost as tricky as finding a four leaf clover in a desert. However, after several hours of research, translation and luck I was able to find replacement poles, but they only come in the full set that the tent requires (i.e. 2 steel poles and 2 fibreglass poles). Pros: - The tent looks great. - It has a large enough reception area for tables and 4 chairs. - Blackout technology allows for a darker and warmer cabin. - It has a removable zipped dividing section in the sleeping area. - Integrated floor panels keep the tent dry and bug free. Cons: - Fibreglass poles flimsy and genuine replacements difficult to source. - Sleeping area can become full of condensation after a nights sleep. Opening the zipped vents solves the problem but the tradeoff is more light can then enter. - Zips placed in the middle of the doors to ensure you know where they are actually hinders accessibility as you have to open both zips on the door (one up and one down) to enter/exit instead of one simple motion with one zip.

Got this tent to camping in England with my dog. It's definitely worth the money! Straightforward to put up although I did do a test run in the garden to make sure I could do it alone, which wasn't easy but I managed it. Stood its ground in the wind and rain, a little moisture in the front section but because it's so tall you can move around without hitting the sides so it doesn't come in. For my next trip I will treat it to make it extra waterproof. Black out rooms are a great touch. Would recommend for those who want a bit of extra living space when camping.

Tent was fantastic until we had our first heavy rain in it and then it became a little wet. Have emailed Coleman directly twice now only to be ignored and I am not happy. Do not buy from them and try Berghaus instead, better customer service if nothing else

Wow! This tent has been tested in all aspects! Brutal storm with strong winds (still standing) 15cm flood all around us (still standing) 30 degrees hotness (still standing) really can’t fault this tent, easy to set up, such a great space and loved the blackout bedrooms although ended up sleeping way longer than I though as I couldn’t see the daylight! :) The only place where it leaks a bit is the zipper for power cable, the water manages to get in through there but that really happens in extreme weather that we had in Lake District! Thoroughly recommend! Thank you

I've went through most tents on this site and read all the reviews and decided on this 1! And thankfully I was not disappointed! I absolutely love our tent! Love the big rooms able to stand up in to change and plenty of room for us, 2 adults and 2 children! The main room is ample for family of 4 and a boxer dog! We had this tent up on a hill looking out to sea and the wind it withstood was amazing! The strong metal poles is such the advantage! Great buy!

Seriously great tent, easy to erect and the size is great, black out bedroom is brilliant and the porch over hang is great for leaving your footwear outside without getting wet if it rains. Advice - if you want a carpet for the living room area, the Vango Lomond 450 Carpet 180 x 280cm (CP010) is a perfect fit and if you are after a footprint the Coleman Da gama 4 SPS footprint groundsheet - 270 x 395cm is perfect too. Great tent, love it !

Great tent but one of the poles snapped the first time I used it. Sadly, after 2 months of trying I have still not heard from Coleman customer services about a replacement.

Facilissima e rapida da montare e smontare anche per due cinquantenni alla primissima esperienza di campeggio. Massimo confort, spaziosa, collaudata con temporale che non ha lasciato filtrare la minima umidità… insomma perfetta!

La tente est relativement jolie et semble de bonne facture. Testée lors d'un camping en Bretagne, elle semble parfaitement étanche. Les couleurs sont sympathiques et se fondent parfaitement dans un décor nature. Elles changent surtout des couleurs Décathlon traditionnelles qui fleurissent dans les camping. Pour moi c'est un plus qui permet de se démarquer (ou ne pas se fondre dans la masse). Elles sont aussi de bien meilleure qualité. Le montage relativement compliqué, en tout cas je dirai qu'il n'est pas intuitif. Les piquets sont solides et épais, ils ne se plient pas lors de la mise en terre. Les cordages permettant de tendre l'ensemble sont bons et bien placés. Le petit retour sur le devant de l'entrée empêche aux saletés de rentrer dans la partie habitation. Il ne m'a pas semblé se plaquer sur la totalité sinon cela conduit à une tension sur la toile. La chambre est séparée par un système fermant avec une fermeture éclair. La séparation est donc sérieuse et permet de faire véritablement deux chambres (à l'inverse d'un autre modèle similaire beaucoup moins bien (de la même marque)). Le côté chambre noire est super efficace l'obscurité n'est pas totale mais parfaitement appréciable. Nous avons eu beaucoup de toiles de tente, mais celle là, franchement, elle est plutôt pas mal... Bref, j'aime bien et je recommande
