Red Traditional Sealing Wax by Waterstons 100mm Long with Wick x 3

Good quality, high density wax with a small amount of plasticity but sharp, clear impressions. Not the easiest bit of kit to use to keep a controlled flow of wax going but well worth practising to get it right. Hey it's a skill! Gives a very nice finish which takes the smallest detail cleanly and the 'veins' of burnt wick in the wax give it a great 'period' appearance. I'll be buying again definitely.

These are very good. I've used them a few times now. Couldn't put a seal in but that might just be my lack of crafty skills. Also be careful. The wax is hard to remove because of its stretchy nature. I burnt my finger really bad, blistered up with in a millisecond of contact.

The size is a bit smaller than I was expecting. It is my first time buying sealing wax but it looks to be very good in my opinion.

Excellent quality wax. We used these candles for stamping our wedding stationary. The wax like great and nobody thinks our invites are homemade as they look so good.

This is not wax. It's a plastic like substance. I have used a wax seal for over 30 years. When you place the metal seal on top it should peel away in seconds leaving a perfect image embedded in the wax. The first time I used this it stuck to the envelope. I tried to peel it away but it ripped the paper and left the metal seal gunged up with a substance that is anything but wax. Waste of money and 2 hours trying to clean the metal seal which I may have to throw away now. Avoid.

maybe is just me not knowing how to use dripping wax. I find it fiddly and the keep losing the flame on the wick

Didn't have a chance to use as it's arrive later date than we think we might get but surely it's work fine
