I recently built my DIY TrueNAS server using the GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4 motherboard, and it's been a fantastic choice. The motherboard pairs seamlessly with my Intel Core i3-12100 processor, ensuring smooth and stable performance. One of the standout features is the ample number of SATA ports, which is perfect for my multiple storage drives. The dual M.2 slots provide excellent flexibility for future upgrades, and the BIOS is user-friendly, making setup a breeze. The build quality is solid, and the board's layout is well thought out, making cable management straightforward. While the motherboard offers great value, it does come with some limitations, like the lack of built-in Wi-Fi and fewer USB ports than some higher-end models. Despite these minor drawbacks, it's a reliable and efficient choice for a home server, and I'm very satisfied with its performance in my TrueNAS setup.

Works fine so far. "No Bootable Devices Found" A little troubleshooting advice for noobs like me: when you first boot up after the mobo install and the GIGABYTE BIOS screen shows up with "no bootable devices found" under "Boot Sequence". Be sure to go to advanced settings, and somewhere in there, there's a tab labeled "CMS Support: Disabled" IT HAS TO BE ENABLED (double click) or the computer will not boot. Assign "Storage Boot..." and "Other PCI Devices" to "Legacy". Save and exit and you computer will start after cycling a few times. Took me 2 hours to figure this out. Hope this helps!

Best DDR4 Intel board there is!! Tons of connectivity, ARGB, m.2 slots, plenty of cooling, only thing it doesn’t have is WIFI/bluetooth which doesn’t matter to me because I use wired connection & a $10 Bluetooth adapter

I’ve been really impressed with this Gigabyte motherboard. Setup was straightforward, the BIOS is easy to navigate, and everything worked right out of the box. Build quality feels solid, with plenty of ports and good expansion options for the price. Performance has been smooth and reliable, and it pairs nicely with my CPU and RAM without any compatibility issues. For what you get at this price point, it’s excellent value compared to other boards in the same range. If you’re looking for a dependable motherboard that won’t break the bank, this is a great choice.

This is a great budget friendly micro ATX motherboard. I have always loved Gigabyte boards and this one is no exception. I needed to finally upgrade my WFH computer as Microsoft will be discontinuing support for Windows 10 and when that day comes I won't be able to log into my workplace VPN on my old computer which cannot 'Officially' be upgraded to Win11. So I replaced the MOBO, CPU, & RAM in my existing case, Re-using the PSU, drives and miscellaneous other bits. It was the cheapest way forward and now that I have everything put back together and running the free upgrade of Windows 11 I do really appreciate the increased speed. I have the OS installed on an M.2 NVME card that connected directly to the CPU (according to Gigabyte) and the thing boots in like 15 seconds. Seriously, My phone doesn't even turn on that quickly. LOL. I did not opt for the DDR5 version of this board because I thought that would be overkill and outside of my 'as cheap as possible' mission statement. I'm also using the onboard graphics of the Core I5 12600 and I'm not noticing any issues at all so far. I'm not into gaming so I dont need the bleeding edge.

Worked as it should

Red VGA light on boot. No video output. Tried 3 different GPUs (and two different ports per GPU), one stick of RAM instead of two, RAM in different slots, clearing CMOS two different ways, reseating power cables, and more and nothing works. The manual provided just has a QR code that takes me to a PDF of a manual that has no useful information in it whatsoever. Gigabyte's customer support reputation is so bad that I just returned it via Amazon instead of trying to contact Gigabyte. Stay away from this overpriced, garbage product. UPDATE 8/18/2024: I replaced the motherboard with another of the same model. When it arrived, I noticed that the motherboard was in a very different style of anti-static bag. The first one was in a plain, generic bag, while the replacement was in a Gigabyte branded bag. The replacement worked better, and it convinced me that Gigabyte is repackaging and selling dead motherboards while calling them 'new'. Be careful of what kind of bag the motherboard is in! Not only that, but I've still had intermittent issues with this motherboard, with random crashes under any significant load. It has gotten worse as of late, and I'm nearing the point of starting to replace parts, and the motherboard might be one of them.

I have used many of these boards and never had an issue.

This is the best ( I’ve found for a budget build. With 3 m.2 slots, 4 ram slots and chargeable rgb lighting on the motherboard. I really like this pc part. Here’s a pic of my pc if your interested

Been using this motherboard with an Intel i7-12700k for a few months and have nothing but great things to say about it. It's currently enclosed in a 4U server rack chassis and frequently operates under full load. The BIOS is extremely customizable for the price as well. You won't find a better option for a micro-ATX motherboard with USB Type C and a 2.5Gb LAN port in this price range. Definitely would buy this board again.
