Great price for ok drive
I purchased 4 of the 32gb drives to have around as the price was very good. made of plastic but seem sturdy, you slide the cover that protects the connector when you want to use it and it locks into place while open and closed. Overall it seems well made for the price and on one end is a way to thread it onto key chain or lanyard. for the benchmarks i tested 2 out of the 4 and these were the first thing i did on the drives and they were plugged into usb3 via an amazon basics usb3 extension cable, this did not seem to have any effect on the drives and i even did a test while pluged direct into the usb3 on the back of my pc. so the benchmarks in the pictures are done in order of left to right, the 3rd test of one drive was done direct via the usb without the extension cable (this is marked in the pictures) and the 3rd one of the second drive tested was tested after 8gb of random files added. all times i got above 100mb read speed which is whats advertised and it averaged 28mb write speed. these are not blasing fast but for the price and as a handy usb drive they are perfect, if you want something to read and write a lot of data to regulaly then a ssd via usb would be a better option and this drive does a job at a very good price.

GREAT!! Cheap Storage for People Who Do Not Care About Speed!
If like me you are not bothered about the speed of file transfer (I only have a old PC that used USB 2.0) and all you are looking for is a good quality USB Memory Stick that can hold a little under 32gb worth of files then this is good cost effective storage. I have used Kingston USB sticks for many many years and I have never had a problem with any of them (Trying not to tempt fate) and if you look after your Memory stick then it will give you good service for many years. Always remember to "Eject" your memory stick after you have used it because if you do not then it could lead to files becoming corrupted. I like to use a free bit of software that you can download that will help do this and you can assign a "hotkey" so all you need to do is press a keyboard key and it will "Eject" the USB drive making it safe to remove from your PC. Just google "USB Disk Ejector" If you follow the basic steps then the USB memory stick should last for many many years. I hope you found this review helpful :)

Excellent value for money, decent storage with reasonable benchmark.
This review is for the Kingston DT100G3/32GB DataTraveler 100 G3 USB 3.0 Flash Drive, 32 GB, Black. The item came well packaged and was small enough to fit through the letterbox in an amazon branded envelope. The item itself was easy to open, and there was little difficulty in freeing the item from the packaging. Things that are great: 1. This drive is a basic budget USB 3.0 drive, but having 32GB of storage for a price point of below £4.00 is a bargain. The actual size of the drive is 28.8GB (Which is perfectly normal). 2. In the benchmark test, the drive had a read speed of 124 MB/s and a write speed of 29.2 MB/s. This is fairly average for a USB 3.0 Drive. In layman's terms, this means that opening a file from the drive will be a lot quicker than saving a file to the drive. 3. The drive is very sturdy, it can't slide up or down without a reasonable amount of force, which means your USB drive will be protected if it bounces around in your bag or pocket etc. It clicks into place when closed and when open to ensure there is no movement. 4. The drive has two large holes that the rear end, big enough to attach to keys, most USB drives have a small hole for a keyring to fit through, which they often don't, this is large enough for a big loop keyring to fit through. And as it doesn't slide in and out on its own, it will be safe attached to your keys. Things that are not so great: 1. The drive comes preformatted with a FAT32 file system, meaning that the maximum amount of data you can transfer onto it will be 4GB. As you have a 32GB drive, there may be a need to transfer files larger than 4GB. This is easily resolved, you just need to format your USB drive (in drive options) to the NTFS file system, this will handle much larger file sizes. Overall: This is a fairly standard USB 3.0 drive that will likely suit your immediate needs. It's perfect for people who want to transfer documents, with ease and in a hurry. You will be able to transfer bigger files such as music and movies, but the time to save them to the drive will be more significant. As this is a basic USB drive, although possible, I wouldn't recommend you use it for large files. This drive would suit a student or a professional who needs to store lots of files in a safe and convenient location. If you are looking for something to store large files, such as movies or music files, then I would suggest an external HDD or SSD depending on preference. Ultimately, at £3.83 this is a huge bargain, it has better write speeds than the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash drive, and at this price point, it isn't something you should miss out on!

Horses for courses...
These are not, IMHO, general-purpose flash drives, they are simply too slow. For my specific purpose (music data files), though, they are perfect. Essentially, read once, write many times. I have a fair number of hi-rez FLAC files which I wanted available to network stream device-independently, so I stuck some of them on this drive and plugged it into my secondary router. Now I have my own 24/7 music file server! No stuttering, even with 24 bit 192 kHz files. Capacity will be an issue, especially if I rip some CDs, so I’ve just ordered two 64GB drives, since these are currently the best value and I have two USB ports available on my router (and 2 more on my other one). At this price, recommended for any write-rarely, read-often application, where external data buffering is available.

Amazing value, really good drive
I have had one of these for several years, it is USB 3.0 and therefore fast and has always performed well, never causing any problems, just reliable and quick. Therefore when I needed a couple more I couldn't believe the price, I got five in Nov 2020 for the less money than I paid for my original drive. The integrated USB cover is a nice touch as well. So if you want a good 32GB USB drive from a respected manufacturer at an amazing price, this is the one.

Buy it, But don’t rely solely on it!
This is a great USB stick, and amazing value for money. Also it is a Kingston USB, so it is quite surprising on how cheap it is compared to other non-brand alternatives. I would totally recommend this. However, beware that you should back up your files on to the cloud aswell as the USB, for proper safety, no matter how good quality a USB is. I have had many problems like this with my essays for university that I know how to take precautions. So, 1. Cloud 2. USB All the best for your purchase! It is great for what it does.

As the name suggests, Traveller, ideal
I bought two of these great, sturdy and reliable USB drives when they were on offer. I already own one so was reasonably sure of what to expect, I am not disappointed. As it happened, I was setting up a Samsung TV for ‘Pause’ and ‘Record’, I really didn’t want to waste one of these for such a mundane task but the only other one I had with me was a USB 2, the TV wouldn’t accept it so this is now performing the job well. The other one is being used to back up photos and video from my phone. This frees up memory and allows me to have the files with me. I can’t fault them.
