Maypole 12V 7 Way Bypass Relay with Audible Buzzer Trailer and Caravan Towing Electrics

Worked great on my ford smax, very easily installed

I upgraded 7pin setup to 13pin setup and this works as treat. It runs my caravan fridge while driving.

This relay works impressively well - once installed - and that’s why it got 4 stars! On the packaging it clearly states, ‘Instructions Included’, but they simply weren’t. There was mention of a website, but going there led to an indecipherable list of loads of different products, none of the links having the same number as any part number on this item - a tedious search was needed… Even when I found the right link, there was no wiring diagram, just words, nothing like as intuitive as visuals… So, 3 websites later I had instructions and could install. The only nuisance in use is that occasionally the turn-indicator beeper ‘warbles’ unpleasantly and sounds cheap. It’s great value and - subject to these reservations - recommended.

Maypole, Good stuff as usual. This unit appears to contain small relays powered separately by a power connection which is supplied from the battery / fuse box. This means that the existing wiring does not have much additional load, just enough to turn on the relay(s) The Buzzer for the indicators is pretty loud as well, can't ignore it.

was fitted to a fiat qubo, easy to read instructionsand small size, plenty of wiring supplied with unit as well

Fitted this to a 04 regVW touran fast post good price. The instructions are a bit poor but YouTube is the way to go it took a good 4 hours but was talking care soldered all the connections. Doesn't come with inline fuse or holder. But I had one anyway. It works but doesn't beep but that could be because am using LED lower resistance . But no dash lights saying there's a problem so all is good. Will try some normal lights one day maybe LEDs needs a resistor.
