Great option to make opening/closing prongs more straightforward and to save the prongs from wearing over time. I don't know if it's actually easier than pinching the prongs themselves but it is a lot more intuitive and easier to teach people. It will throw off the sizing of your prong compared to the standard center plate, seems to add about one prong worth of length.
