Requires effort, but worthwhile
I use this only for cleaning my tiled kitchen floor. I've bought 2 extra (Shark branded) pads, so do 4 passes each time. It certainly picks up a lot of dirt and looks better. It takes quite a while to do and requires quite a lot of effort, but I feel it's worth all of that for the clean result it gives. Mine's started a weird whistling, which isn't affecting performance and hopefully won't do. I've only had it a few weeks so can't comment on its durability, but it feels solid and well built.

Now I love it
I've had this a while now, took me ages to get use to it after having had the other triangle type steamers, This one I struggled with to begin with, there wasn't enough steam coming out compared to the others but then I relized I could flip it over and you can then get the boost steam { my fault for not reading the instructions } so now I've got use to it I'm over the moon It doesn't over wet floors which is why I thought it wasn't working very Well and I wasn't use to "pumping " the handle. I have a black tile floor in the bathroom which is a pig to try and clean without smears, but now with this steam mop I'm able to use the boost steam and get a shiny floor, no smears , I love it !! The other steam mops were never able to get rid of smears, quick tip : don't get black shiny floors in your house, they're a nightmare to clean !! The mop itself is really good for wooden floors, tile floors etc but not able to steam carpets like the other types so just be aware of that because I do miss that option. The tank is big, easy to fill and it has a release switch which releases the pads without you having to touch them, same as for putting a new pad on , you just lie the pad on the floor and push the bottom of the mop into it, { its kind of hard to explain} So now I've got use to yes I love this mop and recommend.

Great Product
This is the second steam mop that I’ve bought, but the first Shark one. I love it, I have a huge tiled area to clean and the large mop head and the fact that you can flip it and use the other side makes my life easy. I also use it less frequently on my seal oak floors and it’s fine. I thought the pump handle might be a pain but it’s absolutely not. In my opinion go for this cheaper option, you need a few pumps to start the steam and to get the mop damp then the natural mopping motion gives you loads of steam. I live in a very hard water area so I use distilled water in it. I think that if I didn’t it would clog up and stop working - not worth it for the cost of the water.

Don't recommend.
Broke within a year, no longer produces any steam. Would not recommend and would not repurchase.

Plenty of steam
Makes plenty of steam and heats up fast. Used mainly on quarry tiled kitchen floor but also on sheet vinyl and vinyl planks and cleans all of these very well. Easy to use as the natural mopping action works the pump which delivers the water to the steam element. Significantly better results than wet mopping - the floor is definitely cleaner and also dries much, much faster. Only used distilled water with it as per the destructions - this is the only drawback as, although you save on detergent, the distilled water costs more as you use a fair bit of it - it's the penalty for having plentiful steam. However the better performance and much faster drying time more than make up for a small penalty in terms of cost. in use.

Excellent cleaning, shame about the lack of on/off switch.
Fabulous finish on our rubber floor which was looking greasy and horrible in artificial light, now beautiful again. Already used this new "toy" twice even though we've only had it a week ;-) The only downside is that, incomprehensibly, it doesn't have an on/off switch on the actual tool, so you have to walk back to the socket, maybe over the cleaned floor, to turn the thing off. Unnecessarily stupid design fault. It could have been so much better and earned 5 stars all round.
