Do the usb controls work when plugged into ps4?

Mine did not I also couldn't get sound out of one side unless the cord was rotated in the exact right position I returned mine and went with turtle beach stelth 600 worth the price increase

is there noise channelization because my mom is strict and i have to hear her whenever she calls for me to do something?

This headset is pretty good. The level of noise cancellation is not too high. I can hear my mom calling me from her room, when I am using the headset. It has a very powerful sound, so I use it at a maximum volume level of 30. Above that I wouldn't be able to hear anything above the sound in the headset.
