I purchased this product as I’ve always got the cheaper versions and found it was time to invest. Usually I would look towards bigger brands but after my research I realised that wasn’t necessary. This device does everything If not more than it’s competitors. Constant updating and more features being uploaded to give you more for your money.The system is quick and efficient and does not let you down. After using a cheap one this doesn’t even compare. Full vehicle Heath check. Codes explained clearly and easy to use. Ideal for personal or professional business use.Overall a great diagnostic machine and I can only see it improving as they develop more for it!

Nice size and easy to handle. Instruction are quite easy to folow and understand. Battery lasts a good while without running out. Nice, easy to read and follow display. Up grades are quick and fairly frequent. Plenty of service items to reset and calibrate and relearns. Easy to use and very compact. Loads of different manufacturers to connect to. Worth the investment for DIY and professional users. You can actuate some components on the vehicles to test if they are operating correctly. All in all a good reasonably priced tool with great features

I needed this to diagnose faults on both my kia cars. The artidiag was able to quickly connect to the cars and scan each of the systems very quickly. It found some historic faults on one of the cars in different modules and was able to clear these easily.The tablet is handy and can sit on the steering wheel while you are working.In terms of functionality the device is quite powerful. I was even able to encode new key fobs to the car. The auto vin search did not work but I suspect this is to do with kia cars not storing this on the ecu. The bidirectional functionality works somewhat. There were a few features that didn't work correctly. I have raised these with topdon via the tablet so hopefully these can be rectified in future updates.

It's a good machine but when it comes to customer support from the manufacturer, forget it.They don't give any after sales help because it was purchased off Amazon. My husband had a problem with his machine. He contacted the manufacturer who didn't want to know. Is Amazon aware of this?

After using bluetooth obd readers for years, I have been looking at upgrading to a stand alone bi directional machine for years and I'm glad I did! First off it picks up codes from vehicles that have never worked with bluetooth/phone diagnostics such as my vw t5 4motion. Being able to reset service lights after oil change has been nice as a couple of my vehicles will not reset using a sequence in the car. The biggest advantage is the Bi directional control. You can use it to check actuators etc as well as replace certain modules which need recoding.Where most phone based readers will only read engine fault codes, this will read all modules on the vehicle.Another feature which has come in great help when diagnosing a running issue with my Impreza was the data logging. As I wasn't sure if it was the maf, lambda or vacuum leak causing the high fuel trims, having it log a couple of drives managed to eliminate sensor issues (as the high and low values were correct looking at other factors such as throttle position etc) without replacing parts and hoping for the bestAfter owning this just over a week, I feel I've only scraped the surface on what this is capable ofIt comes in a decent case with adaptors for other vehicles. The tablet seems very well built with a rubberised case which seems like it would help in a workshop environment.

Have the bt800 which is great but this is better. My DPF on my civic got clogged, cost £200 to get it cleaned, but the oil dilution still showed as fault still, garage could not clear it. This item has a special function to reset it, great device . My only criticism would be the blow moulded case compared to the bt800 cushioned case.
