This thing works great! I have a long-haired cat who sucks at personal grooming, but this cut through mats of fur with no problem. Super quiet, didn't worry my spastic boy at all. Didn't cut him, or snag skin. The charge has lasted a long time compared to other trimmers I've tried. Small size makes it easy for sneak attacks too. My ratty fuzzball thanks you!

The clippers work fine, but they are NOT quiet at all. Would definitely recommend turning them on ahead of a shave session to get your pet used to the sound. Also, there are no listed ingredients for what is in the oil this comes with, so I caution all pet owners about using the oil with caution so it doesn't get on your pet and risk them licking it up (coming from a licensed veterinarian here). Otherwise the clippers get the job done.

Don't let the price fool you! They are worth so much more. I've had my set for awhile and they are so gentle on my cat while doing a great job. They are easy to take apart and clean (very important), let parts air dry then put back together and put some droplets of included oil on the blade (also very important and I let them sit for a bit while oily) then they are good to go next time 😀. Although not a big money item I still treat them like they are (I think that's why they last)! I had one tiny issue with mine so I emailed the company, got an immediate response from a customer representative named Sue (10 star rep) and she helped me resolve my issue without hesitation :] (don't usually find that these days!). Also, my son borrowed them for his very long haired kitty (mats), he was thrilled how well they worked, they are also quiet so doesn't scare the fur baby)! My Tiggr Mouse, Orange long hair domestic cat really dispised getting groomed. After looking for a quiet clipper, I came across this pet groomer, shaver. Yes, he STILL DOES NOT like grooming time, but it is so much easier for me than before. Wish I had known about this groomer before all the scratches and hissing we went through from the beginning. It is a softer buzzing noise and more than not he behaves better. I have fewer bleeding scratches and less anxiety. I also have a femaile short hair girl and she does very well while being groomed a bit. :))

It works but i feel like the blade being so short makes it hard to cut through matted fur which is what I bought it for. I took in a cat that had mats all over and I’ve been trying to remove them but had to buy regular clippers (have used) and pet grooming scissors (haven’t used yet) to get it off. It helps really well with the new fur growth that I can get it but it’s not a lot of growth and is close to skin. It hasn’t cut him thankfully and I like it for that. It doesn’t vibrate too much and isn’t too loud to scare him either bc he’s not a huge fan of me removing the mats. There are pros and cons. I think it would work for animals that are not super long haired. It would help maybe with paws but I feel like the blade being so small and short might make it hard to carve it out. It’s ok for the price.

Anyone with a Maine Coon knows the struggle of maintaining that thick, double coat. My big boy gets terrible mats on his belly and underarms, plus the dreaded "dingleberries" on his hindquarters. Ok type, size is small but not surely silent sound is 80-90 decibels and might slightly cut pets skin unlike human trimmers

These clippers are amazing! My long haired barn cat had gotten quite matted and no other brush, comb, etc. I used could get through them. These clippers went through the mats with ease. There was no discomfort for my cat at all. I gave her some wet cat food to keep her occupied and within minutes I was done. I am truly amazed. It comes with some comb attachments but for removing the mats it worked better without them. They are very light weight, cordless and pretty quiet compared to other clippers I have had for my dog in the past. My cat is now mat free and still likes me!

This is absolutely rubbish. It’s in no way quiet, I can’t get anywhere near my cat with it on let alone shave her. I now have to faff about returning it and pay to have it tracked back for the privilege. Don’t bother!
