Great robust toy with treat section. Particularly good for dogs that like to chew.

(Photo of the toy after my dog has had it for about a month.) My dog loves this, it's the only toy I've found which he doesn't destroy in a day. He's a rottweiler and a strong chewer - this will last him 10 - 12 months with up to a couple of hours use on most days. The tiny ring at the top breaks off quite quickly but the rest of the toy remains intact for months. I really recommend this for bigger / strong dogs. Of course, always supervise your dog with chew toys and the longer in a day they chew on a toy the sooner it will start to break.

Bought the XXL Kong Extreme Chew Toy as a last attempt to give my German Shepard/Husky cross something to play with. He always chews toys to pieces within seconds of getting them, and he needs something to chew to stop him chewing the furniture, hence this toy. I was sceptical at first and was hesitant about buying this toy, especially at the price, but I was desperate. Best thing I have ever bought. He loves this toy, he chews it for ages (always under observation) and there are hardly any dents in it. Great product, too big for treats to be fitted inside as they just fall out but he isn't bothered by that, he's just happy to have something to chew. Would definitely buy again! Edit: Had this toy for a year and it's still going strong!

Our new rescue pup is still getting used to it - he doesn't know how to play much, but it keeps him entertained when we head out. I don't fill it with treats because that would be too many - about five or six we add, then seal the larger end with peanut butter and freeze it for 2hours or overnight so takes him longer to lick the butter and get treats out. He hasn't chewed the toy at all which is great so we are hoping it lasts a while - good product!

Love these kongs. Great for the strong chewers. Excellent as a throw toy and doubles up for enrichment with the ability to stuff with food/treats. Can't fault

Rating Kong's in general, brilliant product if you buy the right size and strength, I still have an XL puppy Kong that I bought more than 30 years ago, they don't do that size in puppy any more. I have several XL and XXL black Kong's all at least 13 years old and have just bought another one they are invaluable. If your dog can get the largest end in his mouth the Kong is too small and he will be able to destroy it, my dogs are mostly GSDs so hard chewers and they haven't destroyed a black one yet. You don't have to buy special stuffing I use my dogs usual food, if you feed wet food just stuff and freeze, if you feed kibble cover a portion of kibble with boiling water and allow to soak then again stuff and freeze. With the kibble it is trial and error depending on size, I find 2 handfuls kibble fill the XL size and my hands take size 7 gloves. Sorry to go on but this is such a great product that I would hate people not to buy it because of adverse comments. All this only applies to the original Kong not to the Wobbler or the ball

We have a total of 12 dogs, most of them American Staffordshire Terriers and some of them are SERIOUS chewers. XXL black Kongs are the only toys they are not able to destroy in a short timeframe. They are safer than recreational bones and a great way to offer the dogs daily enrichment by stuffing their food (they are raw fed) in the Kongs and freezing them. Black original Kongs are the only toys we have laying around and in the crates for dogs and I do believe the enrichment these offer is improving the quality of life for our dogs.

I got the Kong xl for my Rottie. I find it to be a little to small.. returned and got the XXL .. perfect size. (A tad big, but still very acceptable). The big boy loves it!

Tras mucho uso la verdad es que muy contento con el juguete. Mi perro es mediano tirando a grande y destrozaba cualquier juguete pero con este no es capaz por más que lo intente. Además el poder meterle comida de vez en cuando le encanta y lo entretiene un rato, tampoco mucho porque es muy hábil para sacarla

Esse já é o 2° que eu compro. Não tem brinquedo melhor! Esse foi o único que durou bastante. Recomendo para quem tem cães que destroem todo e qualquer brinquedo.

Sturdy toy as advertised

My large, chewing puppy loves this and thankfully it has held up to her abuse! She runs around with it, tosses it and chases it when it bounces. Putting treats inside it keeps her busy and tires her out. So far we love it!
