I would like to say thank you to the retailer for such a good experience while purchasing from them. The customer service is excellent, they promptly reply to emails and are very helpful. The cameras and DVR with 1TB HDD are top quality, and very easy to install, I am recommending this system to all my relations, friends and colleagues. Delivery time is very quick, if you are on the mainland it would be next day delivery. There are two issues that are very minor, the instruction manual is a bit vague, the menu is intuitive but needs a bit of trial and error to get it right and find what all the settings do. At the time of writing additional cameras are not available to purchase, but you can find plenty of compatible cameras on Amazon, probably not as good quality as the cameras supplied. To sum up, I was very surprised by the quality of this system especially when you consider the low price for such a good product. You can get a CCTV security system as good as this, but expect to pay considerably more money for it. Product: 10/10 Retailer: 10/10.

This CCTV will do everything you need. It has good picture quality, both day and night. Colour during the day, and IR greys at night. Faces of people are easily recognisable, even if they were moving. The IR picture is much better than I expected. And the dull red IR LED lamps around the camera not only illuminate the area, they are a deterrent in themselves. Anyone creeping around at night, with see a dull red circular glow of IR lamps. You are being watched… The camera casings are sturdy and weatherproof. Absolutely no problem with the recent torrential rain. The only problem being that spiders love the wether protection of the camera, so don’t be alarmed about the huge spider on your TV screen. I bought a small 10 inch LED TV to go with this. It sits on the CCTV console, and gives a good colour display of the four feeds, for minimal energy usage. No idea who made the TV as it stupidly has no identifying marks, but it is a simple plug-in with only four buttons - so even I can set it up. It was something advertised on Amazon. You can have all four images up on the screen, or scroll through the cameras individually. The CCTV also has a facial recognition system, that will detect a face and put it on the screen. This seems pretty reliable, as it only detects faces and not spiders. And it will give an alarm if it detects a face, if you want it to. Probably a good idea, unless you have lots of people walking by. I doubt if you will get a better system, without going to a professional security firm and paying an arm and a leg. R.

This was my first use of a Digital Video Recording system, and it's impressive at the price, except for cameras. There were a few problems in setting up: I couldn't get DVR working remotely using XMEYE on a laptop using Windows. It was necessary to use a tablet (or I suppose a smartphone would work) to create an XMEYE account. Thereafter I could view remotely on either the tablet or laptop. The XMEYE version for a tablet running Android seems reliable, but the version for PC/Laptop running Windows 7 is not. It worked for a bit in Internet Explorer (not Firefox, Chrome), then not at all. Overall, I found that viewing locally on a TV or Android tablet is a good experience, on a PC or laptop - no. The setups are comprehensive and it takes a while to become familiar with all the various features, and optimise it for your requirements. Having done that, saving the configuration to a memory stick would be a good idea. I don't know how much configuration data is retained if the power fails. I use motion detection to trigger recording, with some scheduled continuous recording. With motion detection there are of course lots of possibilities for false alarms - insects, birds, animals, shadows etc.. Regarding cameras, the orientation adjustment didn't inspire confidence, but I suppose they are cheap and the video is acceptable. When installed outside, neither of the cameras switched to night mode with IR illumination, even with no ambient light. The seller gave me a partial refund when requested, since it was too much hastle for returns. One camera worked fine indoors switching between day and night mode, but not when installed outside. It appears that the night vision function of the cameras only works if the ambient temperature is greater than about 15C (less than half year in UK?). I have made covers (looking like half a bird nest box) to go over the cameras to reduce the potential effects of weather. I can't comment on long term reliability yet, but it's been working for 9 months. The support (via email) has been quick and helpful.

Initially I was not sure about SANSCO 8 channel CCTV Camera because it was recommended to me however it has not disappointed. I absolutely love the performance such as the night vision which is peace of mind. I can monitor things from thousands of miles away which is brilliant. It is easily set up and the recording is of quality. Considering the price I paid and the efficiency of this 8 channel CCTV Camera, it is value for money comparing to other brands I have seen. I was a little unsure if it will withstand the aggressive weather we sometimes experience in the UK but it has performed well and all my uncertainty completely gone. From a user of this product, I can say it is an amazing buy and I love it.

This is a superb home CCTV security system which was fairly straightforward to install. Being hardwired it takes patience and time to place the cameras (I opted for two to capture the front of our property and a separate WiFi cam for the rear) but worth it for the peace of mind it affords. This is quality system recording in 1080P with crystal clear capture day and night thanks to its night vision / infra red capability. It's worth spending time setting up the menus and once done you can let it do its thing. Being on a main road I switched off the detection alarms but it's good to have if you want it. It also alarms should someone tries to mask/cover the cameras which is added peace of mind. You can also access the system remotely over the internet should you wish to (set up in the settings having plugged in to your home network) via an app where you can see a live view and also capture video or image stills on your mobile phone. You can also review the recorded footage on your phone as well of course as you can on your home monitor. I have included some photos of the live and recorded footage screens. Also Sansco Customer Support is outstanding. I've had this system since 2019 and I had a few technical issues and wanted to upgrade the HDD. Despite being 4 years old their support and help has been brilliant. They could have ignored me as well out of warranty but they didn't. Answered my questions and provided helpful videos to swap out the drive which went smoothly. This is testament to a company in my view. Not only do they sell a quality product, they are still there years later willing to support a customer. I do not hesitate to recommend this Sansco system.

This is the second Sansco CCTV ive had and although they are good and great picture quality neither of them have lasted more than 2.5 years without the hard drive failing. Due to this I will now be looking for an alternative.

I required CCTV to cover vehicles parked on our driveway. After much research and reading other reviews we opted to purchase this product. It was a combination of price, ease of installation and set up which were most influential in my decision - especially as I am not overly technically minded. The product was delivered very promptly. The initial istallation was pretty straighforward - although there was a fault with one of the cables. A replacement was sent imediately and resolved the problem. The cables supplied, are plenty long enough for most domestic installations - certainly in my case there is plenty to spare. Setting up the system with the motion detection zones is really pretty simple - I followed the instructions supplied, alongside a YouTube video I found online - and it has worked seamlessly since installation. The quality of the recording in both day and night is first class. Playback is simply enough via the on screen admin settings. The Android app works really well and allows you to view the live stream in HD as well as in standard quality. Two small improvements I would suggest are: 1.Put the USB port for exporting clips on the front facia of the HDD unit. 2. The sealed connectors on the end onds of the cables mean that you have to make a much larger hole in any wall etc than you might expect - to enable you to pass the cable through. It would be helpful if the connectors could be made removeable with a simple and slimmer phono type plug on each one that you could plug into the removabele connectors. I have had this installed and working continuously for over a year now. In summary - sound product - easy to install and set up, works well - and for the price, I don't think you will find anything else that comes close. Hope this helps others.
