I just put a teaspoon or more into orange juice. You can put it in water but then it tastes tart. But overall its not nasty tasting. 8oz of liquid is good.

100 grams is 3.53oz and it has 250 servings

Does this product contain any gluten?

Check the ingredients :) It's just the pure amino acid. My understanding is no, and I do not *think* it is manufactured anywhere that gluten would get in the product. (I am not sure if the label specifies that).
