Whole nutmeg

I love nutmeg...I was making a bread and butter pudding and needed some nutmeg so bought this to arrive next day. Great quality and flavour, but please be careful, I used to love nutmeg grated over my Mocha, then started experiencing, heart palpatations; things moving about in the corner of my vision; a sense of dread amongst other issues. Thats when I remembered and looked up that nutmeg as hallucinogenic effects, and can causel heart issues. The key chemical becoming particularly active when mixed with fat, such as milk. I was using alot on my coffees and had a few coffees a day, cut back to only grating a little on 1 coffee a day and all is OK.

I bought this nutmeg whole as Couldn’t find the any ground nutmeg in the shops. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the real nutmeg taste I got when I put in my porridge with cinnamon & syrup. I will buy the whole nutmeg in future.

Nutmeg has hidden quality especially when freshly grated and added to a hot milky drink as a nightcap
