It would work if Bona wrestling mat mop was the same size.

Is mine defective or an I trying to put it together wrong? The top part of the handle won't screw into the other piece.

UGH- I struggled too, but I have your answer- and it's not the video! The threaded part with the orange handle is the telescopic handle. You need to loosen, and then lengthen the telescopic handle, and THEN it will screw into the middle part.
