We traveled across the country last year and these bowls were great! Very sturdy. The only downside is the screws stick out and can get caught on things. You can see it in this photo. Other than that, we were very happy with the durability. Also loved how the bowls can easily be removed for cleaning.

Very active cat needed to be confined to his carrier after surgery. He stood on and broke several plastic bowls - this one is stainless steel and has held up for months - even with him climbing on it. Do wish there was some device to clip it in securely rather than sliding into the ring that holds it to the door - he has knocked it out by pushing up from underneath. (A binder clip helped considerably). WOULD BUY AGAIN !

These bowls are great. Very easy to install and fits large and small crates. The only thing I would suggest would be to have maybe either a magnet or something to hold the bowls down so that the puppy/dog doesn't push it out of the holder. My pups like to play with the bowls like they're toys.

Terribly sorry to write a bad review. The hardware was less than satisfactory. The bowls were not stable as described. Welding was poor. My dogs love to put a paw in the bowl while drinking. The bowl circle ripped off the weld and no longer usable for kennel water on hot days. The idea was wonderful. The construction is poor. Bowl sizes are adequate for large breed dogs. I really wish they would have worked. Glad I tried them out during the winter months. I can still keep looking for summer options for my fur babies. They don't get kenneled often, but I try to make sure they have everything they need. Back to the watering drawing board in a kennel.

Fit door of our nursing mother's kennel very nicely and keeps the water out of reach of the pups. They hold a lot, more than the regular water bowls! This is great as I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night to feed and water her. The sides of the dishes are strong but I find the bottoms a little weak. I don't see the benefit of the middle fastener. It just pushes the bowl out and up a bit. It would have been better of there was a silcone pad on the end of the middle bolt to push against the bowl to hold it firm. I do not like how long the bolts are. They stick out much too far and could be a safety hazard.

I use these on my fence for the feral cats. They work great and are a good size for them. I've had them for about a year and there hasn't been any rust or damage. My only issue is how easily the bowls come out because one has already been lost (wind or an animal stealing it). It would be great if there was a latch to keep them more secure.

No spilling of bowls any more. I love these bowls, definitely sturdy and easy to use. Fits perfect in my kennel.
