I ordered a bottle of Sunnygem 100% Virgin Cold Pressed California Almond Oil and am extremely glad I did! I’m very health conscious and have used olive and avocado oils frequently in the past. An integral component of my nutrition routine recommended by my doctor is eating heart healthy almonds daily, so I decided to try Sunnygem almond oil. I was quite pleased to learn that, like almonds, Sunnygem provides omega-3 fatty acids, omega-6, high concentration of oleic acid omega-9, also rich in Vitamin E, Vitamin A, and monounsaturated fats, which help reduce skin inflammation, protects against UV damage, and support skin hydration. Yes, I even nourish my face with Sunnygem and my friends n family say I “glow” which is a huge bonus at age 64. Sunnygem’s versatility is unprecedented, it’s great for cooking, baking, grilling, dipping, drizzling over my proteins, veggies, potatoes, also as a delicious salad dressing base fuhgettaboutit!! Recently, a guest at my home had horribly tangled hair after showering but not for long, once again Sunnygem to the rescue! I recommend Sunnygem to everyone as a healthy alternative to olive and avocado oil.

I grew up around almond orchards and this stuff is made from almonds where I live in California. So I was super curious what this almond oil was about, so I ordered the 500ml bottle and it tastes smooth, buttery, and has a more savory flavor than olive oil (less bitter). I pour it on my pasta and salads as a supplement for extra flavor. And I am trying to talk my wife into adding it to baked goods as I think it would be excellent, but I can't vouch for that yet. The packaging was really cool and super nice and would make a great gift for any foody who likes to explore new flavors.

I love this oil! I used it to make chicken fajitas. It smells like almonds but there is no heavy smell or almond flavor. It worked great and it was light and smooth. My husband and kids gave it 5 stars! Next I'm going to use it for baking. One last thing, the bottle is so beautiful that I'm leaving out on my counter beside my salt and pepper mills. It looks classy.

This is excellent almond oil, great packaging. My one concern is the cap on the bottle. I was a supervisor for Kraft foods for years. The capping machine or process is poor. I had to saw off the cap retaining ring and after that the cap won’t tighten around the threads. Would be sad if a reorder of this fine oil would prevent someone from buying again.

Though seal & cap were unbroken, it was very obvious this bottle had either been tampered with, ill treated...no packaged on or expiry date either (that should have been a real red flag). I was hesitant to uncap & taste, but went ahead...oil is rancid, I'm a cook, I know rancidity when I taste it. Since you can't return this item, I'd like to say loud & clear, Do Not Buy from this manufacturer. Previously purchased another brand from Amazon, & it was good.

This oil is really great for cooking AND baking! With it I’ve made banana bread, marinated salmon and a GREAT salad dressing!! The flavor is nutty but not overpowering and it really works well in just about any recipe needing oil! I wanted to try cooking with almond oil after hearing about its health benefits and it being lower in calories than avocado and olive oils. I was happy to find it was delicious too! Definitely will be ordering more. OH..and the packaging is GORGEOUS! Perfect for a host/hostess gift!!

So impressed with this oil! I find most of the healthier oils (i.e., avocado) have very little flavor but this one is sending all of the others to the back of the pantry. The flavor is mild yet flavorful, and literally enhances everything I've made so far from sweet treats, to salad dressings, to drizzling over fish with a bit of lemon. Additionally, I've been using it as a moisturizer on my face, neck, scalp and cuticles and it is soooo dreamy. The packaging is beautiful and fun, so it is also a go-to housewarming or anytime gift for my favorite friends. Love it.
