The 3rd one is plastic for whipping eggs.

Did anyone get 3 slicing/shredding discs as shown in the instructions? The 3rd disc (7c on page 5) was missing from mine tho promo images only show 2!

You should get two metal disks - one for slicing, one for shredding (both reversable) and one plastic disk for whipping.
