Love this rack!
equal or better quality than the TrailRax rack which is over $800! I experience zero noise on the highway. One person install with a moving blanket on top. I did do one thing though to help preserve my white top's finish... clear body protect tape where the clamps go.

Love it but...
I am really loving this half roof rack. I had an issue when I received it which was annoying since I took the time to put it all together before a camping trip and then realized I was missing one set of the brackets needed for installing onto the roof so I couldn't use it for camping and traveling. However, customer service was good-they did send me the missing brackets, but they took a while to be deliver as their parts are shipped from oversees/internationally.Recently, ONE of the M8*25 screws started rusting pretty soon after installing, not sure if it was just a unlucky duck in the pack. Would love if Hooke Road could send me a replacement for the screw (or a few just in case).Overall, I am happy with the quality and no issues with noise, etc., and I look forward to trying out other Hooke Road accessories for my Bronco.

Nice rack
It was only a matter of time before the half rack for the 4 door bronco came out and this one was just what I was looking for.Adds enough storage for extended trips without covering the tops so it can stay on when the weather is nice and we go topless. It does change the air flow which is more noticeable than you’d think but, not completely annoying but you can tell.Biggest negative is the instructions. You are better off looking at the photos on Amazon than trying to decipher the broken English and hieroglyphs on the paper in the box…

Love the product
Instructions that come with the product are useless. Need to make the instructions a little bigger so that you can read them.

Relatively inexpansive half rack for your 4dr hardtop Bronco
This rack is pretty good especially for the price! Now could it be better? Sure. There are less than 100 parts in the puzzle that is the rack. Says 2 to 3 persons are needed to get it done. I didn't let that stop me. I spent and hour or two putting it together. I used both the included instructions and the online instructions. The rack goes together very easy.Installing the rack by yourself is easy as well. It only weights about 37 pounds or so. I just used a short step ladder and lifted the rack into place. I put some towels and rags on the top to protect against scratches. The clamps go right into the slights. Tighten down all four corners and you are done.It would have been great if locktite had been included or washers on both sides of the clamp. When I get back from a trip in the near future, I will likely take the rack off to inspect the tightness and to add locktite to the screws. I would have done it now, except I couldn't find it in my shop. Anyway, I think this is a good product for the money.

Item severely damaged
After unpacking the rack, I noticed multiple parts were damaged. They looked as if they had already been used and returned. A bracket (to secure rack to roof) had visible gouges in the metal. The padding on the bracket was torn in multiple places. With this I was still going to see how it fit. However, when beginning to assemble the rack I noticed multiple deficiencies. At least one nut was stripped. One nut was out of round. Another nut was gouged on one side so it would not take the bolt. All three of these issues were on separate cross bars so I could not install a single one.I started the return process through Amazon. I tried to contact the seller through Amazon as well as through their website. I have not had anybody from the company contact me to right this order. I just returned the item per the direction I got from the company on Amazon's return page. It cost me $84.90. It appears that I will get refunded for the item (only the item): which was a total of $323.91. So at the end of the day, I spent 26% of the overall total cost of an item I do not have anymore and could not use. I will never buy a Hooke Road item again.

Rack Vibrations and Low Base Sound
I like the look and use of the roof rack. However, when you are driving between 45 and 60 MPR the rack vibrates and makes a low bass sound that you cannot miss. I was told to add some sort of "spacer" to remove the gap between the roof of my bronco and the rack itself. Did that to the rear of the rack. That did not stop the issue. I then clamped the front bar to the first cross bar then zip tied it to remove the "give" in it. That again helped but did not end the bass sound. May have to just place it on top of the vehicle when I actually need to use it vs leaving it up there all of the time. Bummer!!

Great product. Horrible instructions.
Directions are the worst Glad my husband is savvy. Following the pictures on Amazon were more helpful than written Directions. Overall a great product and goes really well with my Hooke side steps.
